Sweet Lily and Instagram Copic Giveaway

Hi everyone! It’s another Bellarific Friday with Stamping Bella! This week I have used what might be my favorite stamp of all time, Tiny Townie Garden Girl Lily. She’s sooooo sweet.  I think my give-away is kind of sweet too. Read on! 🙂

Always-on-My-Mind-500

Last week’s challenge was to design using this {mojo}bella sketch:

March 10

I turned the sketch on its side and widened the center panel, pretty much sticking to it.

I used a few of the markers from Copic’s 6-piece Ciao Skin Set to color Lily’s skin. Included in the set are E000, E00, E11, E15, E18 and E93.

6pc Ciao Skin Set

If you’re new to coloring skin, this is a great beginner set as blending pairs have already been chosen for you. No guesswork! You can find many more Copic Ciao marker sets here.

Michele Boyer - Stamping Bella

Copic makers – BG10, BG11, C00, C1, E000, E00, E11, E70, E71, E74, E77, E79, G21, G24, G94, R00, R01

I used E000 as a base, then added depth/shading using E00 and E11.

The super cute sentiment is from Marching Chick stamp set.

So… I would like to share with one lucky winner a brand new Ciao Skin Set of six markers, 24 quarter-sheets of X-Press It Blending Card (24 pieces 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ each) and one package of X-Press It 1/4″ High Tack Double Sided Tape. I’ll also include my card. (Approximate Copic value, $40.)

Always-on-My-Mind-Giveaway500

Here are the “rules:”

  • Find the card above on my Instagram account @SHEL9999. “Like” the post and leave a comment there for your chance to win.
  • The winner must be a follower of my IG account. Please only follow if you like my work. Feel free to tag friends if you think they might like my work too.
  • I will choose one random winner from the comments there on Friday, March 17. Winner will be announced on Instagram as well as here on my blog on that day.
  • Open to Canadian and US residents only. (I wish I could open to all but I need to keep the shipping costs reasonable.)

Next week’s challenge is to include glitter or bling. Use any current Stamping Bella image then email your card to [email protected] by next Thursday to be featured on the SB blog and to be entered to win some Bella Bucks! (All challenge details can be found HERE.)

Thanks so much for visiting!

Today I’ve colored a digi-image from All Dressed Up Stamps, Little Flower Girl. She was printed onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.

After coloring the hat (and before coloring the surrounding areas), I applied Colorless Blender Solution to a scrap of denim then touched the denim to the hat area.  The texture of the denim transfers the Blender Solution to the hat area, creating the denim pattern. It’s super cool and my favorite use for the Colorless Blender.  🙂

So Happy for You (Stamping Bella) and a Give-away

Hi everyone!  I’m on the Stamping Bella blog today sharing how I added dimension to lovely Uptown Girl Melanie the Modern Bride. You can find a complete step-by-step tutorial HERE.

Michele Boyer - Stamping Bella

Copic markers – BV000, BG11, C00, C1, C2, E00, E11, E29, E31, E35, G29, R39, R85, RV32, Y21, YG17, YR14, YR23

While I don’t want to duplicate the info found on the Stamping Bella blog, I do want to talk just a bit about one of my all-time favorite crafting products, X-Press It Foam Tape . I use lots of foam tape so I *always* ensure I have a healthy supply on hand.

foam-tapes

X-Press It Foam Mounting Tape (green label) is available in 1/2″ and 3/4″ widths. High Tack Foam Mounting Tape (purple label) is available in 1/4″ and 1/2″. For paper crafting, I use them interchangeably, depending on the width called for on my project. They are basically the same except that High Tack Foam Mounting Tape has an extra strong adhesive which works well on glass, wood, paper, plastics and fabric. Both are acid and solvent free and ideal for scrapbooking and card making.

Giveaway-3

Three of the four products I’m giving away were used on my card today.  I have Stamping Bella’s Uptown Girl Melanie the Modern Bride stamp set, Taylored Expressions’ Dotted Lattice embossing folder, Paper Smooches’ Birthday Words dies and a roll of X-Press It Double-sided 1/4″ High Tack Foam Tape. Just leave a comment on this post by Tuesday, May 18, 11:59 p.m. ET. I will randomly choose a winner on Wednesday, May 19. The winner will be notified by email and I’ll post the winner’s name on my blog that day as well.

I hope you’ll check out my post on the Stamping Bella blog (here) to see my card in full as well as a step-by-step tutorial for multi-layer dimension.

Thanks SO much for visiting! 🙂

Welcome to Paper Cuts!  Today 18 companies and 114 designers are participating in a hop dedicated to our readers and each one is hosting a giveaway!  Holy smokes!  Be sure to check the list below!

I honestly do appreciate every visitor, whether the stop is short or long, whether a comment is left or not.  There are a million things to do during a day. Knowing that someone is taking time from their hectic schedule to peek at something I’ve created is an honor.   So I thank you, from the bottom of my heart.  ♥

We had a lot of sickness here around the holiday so I didn’t have much time to pull things together.  However, I DO have a gift I hope one of you will enjoy.

1GC$40

I would like to treat one lucky winner to a $40 shopping spree at one of my all-time favorite shops, My Favorite Things.  Just leave a comment below for your chance to win.  No restrictions other than only one comment per person, please. Commenting closes on Monday, January 5th at 12 p.m. (noon) EST.  I will announce the winner shortly after noon here on my blog.

May your glass always be half full.

2015-Glass-Half-Full

I used Stamping Bella’s Uptown Girl Opal the Optimist to ring in the new year. She’s stamped using MFT’s Black Licorice hybrid ink on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.  Along the side, I used two layers of Looped Border cut from Electric Red card stock.

2015-Glass-Half-FullCU2

It doesn’t show well (or at all) in the photo, but her dress is covered with a clear Wink of Stella glitter pen.  So sparkly!  It is New Year’s after all.  🙂

Thanks again for visiting!  I hope you’ll return.  You can find me HERE on Facebook, HERE on Pinterest, HERE on Instagram.  Your next stop along the hop is with Christiana Reuling.

Here’s your hop list.  GOOD LUCK!  🙂
