Fun with Sentiment Stackers and Foundation Dies (queen & company)

Hello! Today I’m sharing two more cards using Queen & Company‘s awesome Sentiment Stackers and Foundation Dies.  (You can view my previous posts using these fun products HERE and HERE.) Each Sentiment Stacker set comes with 20+ dies and a coordinating sentiment stamp set.  And the Foundation dies are perfect bases for sentiments or stamped images. Very versatile!

On this card I used the flower die from Foundation Dies 2 and sentiment from Sentiment Stackers Dies 2.

I cut thin strips of Delightful Dots patterned paper, adhering each strip to white cardstock in a rainbow pattern then die-cut into the flower shape. Once adhered to my card front, I added Solid Goosebumps to each center.

Here I created a super quick and easy baby card using Sentiment Stackers 2 and Foundation Dies 1.

The sentiment was assembled and adhered to the foundation dies, then adhered to pretty Flirty Florals patterned paper. Lastly, I added a few irridescent white Spirals.

You can always see what’s new and exciting with Queen & Company HERE. There are LOVELY new Sea Stones…

…which would go perfectly with the Under the Sea Shaker kit. Aren’t they lovely?? (I have two posts with three cards each using the Under Sea Shaker Kit here and here.)

Thanks so much for visiting today!

choose to shine (paper smooches)

Hello friends! Today I have a fun card to share using several dies from Paper Smooches‘ latest release with a bit from a perfectly coordinating older stamp set.

Paper Smooches Vespa and Sunnyville

I’ve used new Vespa die with the flower and flag from older stamp set, Spiffy Scooter. There are lots of coordinating stamps in the set for creating patterns, large and small “exhaust” clouds, sentiments, etc. It’s really cute.  🙂

Paper Smooches Vespa and Sunnyville (close-up)

Copic markers – RV66, V01, V12, Y18, Y19

I also included the adorable sun with smiley face from new Sunnyville stamp set. Once stamped and colored, I die-cut the sun with the coordinating Sunnyville Icons die and popped it up on a foam square.

You can find Paper Smooches‘ latest release HERE. Also, every order over $60 qualifies for a free stamp set! Simply state the stamp set you’d like (for FREE) in the comments section when placing your order.  🙂

have a magical day (stamping bella)

Hello everyone! I hope you’ve had a great week so far. The weather here today is glorious! We don’t get very many nice summer days here in Virginia. It’s usually very hot and incredibly humid. But today….the door is open, the wind is blowing…ahhh… 🙂

Stamping Bella Edna Blows a Kiss

Today I’m sharing a card using Stamping Bella‘s sweet Edna Blows a Kiss. (You may recall that Edna Loves to Sweep, as used here, is the June Stamp of the Month. That image, along with the coordinating die, is 25% off through June 30.)

I sponged a bit of a blue sky background using Broken China Distress Oxide ink. Edna and clouds were stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card then colored with Copic markers and die-cut with coordinating dies. Edna and one of the clouds are popped up on foam squares for a bit of added dimension.

Today is a New Day (paper smooches)

Hello everyone. Today I’m sharing another card using some of the latest products available from Paper Smooches. (You can find my preview posts using new Paper Smooches HERE and HERE.)

I combined Cuppa Sunshine dies with Mini Clouds dies and a sentiment from Sunnyville stamp set.  The little eyelashes and smile are also from Sunnyville. Aren’t they cute?  🙂

I cut a thin frame by die-cutting a large square then centering and taping a slightly smaller square die over the larger square and die-cutting again. To add a bit of texture, I zigzag stitched a bit on three sides.

You can find all of the latest products now available from Paper Smooches HERE. It’s a super cute release!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

(Not) Feeling Crabby about Queen & Company’s Under the Sea Shaker Kit

Hi everyone! I’m back today with more from Queen & Company‘s new Under the Sea Shaker Kit. (You can see my previous post HERE.) The kit is so much fun, and so easy. Basically, all you need in addition to the kit is base card stock and glue.  🙂

I first used this cute crab. After die-cutting his body from patterned paper, I die-cut him again from white card stock, placing the white under the patterned paper for a bit more stability. Once the crab was assembled and adhered over the blue wave paper, I cut pieces from the leftover foam (from the middle of the body) to place under the claws and eyes.

I also used a Paper SmoochesPolka Dots Border die to cut “bubbles.” The dies cut many small circles at once so I keep that set handy. There are so many uses for it.

Next, I used the cute dolphin. Inside I placed toppings from the kit.

After stamping the sentiment, I cut the sides at an angle, punched holes and tied in place using string. (It is also secured in the center with adhesive.)

Lastly, I have a sweet seahorse. Inside, I placed a couple of the toppings from the kit as well as a sprinkling of clear diamonds.

I added a couple of stars die-cut using the center piece from the sand dollar and adhered a sea shell sequin into each center.

You can find all of the extras available for the kit HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

I’ll Always Have Your Back (stamping bella)

Hello everyone! TGIF! This week the Stamping Bella team is revisting older images (anything not from the most current release).  I chose a Stuffie as it’s been ages since I’ve colored one.

Stamping Bella I'll Always Have Your Back Stuffie

I adore this elephant duo in I’ll Always Have Your Back. It’s just so sweet…the tiny one holding the bigger one’s tail.

I stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.

Stamping Bella I'll Always Have Your Back Stuffie (close-up)

Copic markers – BG10, BG70, G21, G24, G28, R00, R01, R83, R85, RV11, RV32, W00, W1, W2, W3, W4, W5, YR14

I added a few swirls of leaves and flowers (links below) and adhered to my favorite Simple Stripes patterned paper from Queen & Company.

NEXT WEEK’S CHALLENGE

Use an image from the same category as the June Stamp of the Month (Edna Loves to Sweep), which means use an image from the Edna the Fairy Godmother category.  If you’d like, email your card to [email protected] by next Thursday to be featured on the SB blog. By doing so, you’ll also be entered to win some Bella Bucks! All challenge details can be found HERE.

Queen & Company’s NEW Under the Sea Shaker Kit

Queen & Company has a new shaker kit, Under the Sea, and it is hugely addictive! And it is big! The set includes 16 dies, an Under the Sea paper pad, 27 foam/acetate pieces, custom toppings and a 4×6 stamp set.  I created six cards, three of which I’m sharing today. It is seriously soooo cute. Shaker cards are so much fun anyway…but these? Eek!

Queen & Company Under the Sea Kit - Mermaid

First I created an adorable mermaid. So so so cute! (I can’t help repeating myself.) The hair die cuts a little slit where the forehead is inserted. Such a nice touch.

Queen & Company Under the Sea Kit - Mermaid (close-up)

I used Foundation Dies #2 to cut the circle and scalloped border then placed Irridescent Purple Goosebumps between each scoop. In the tail I added shell toppings from the kit along with purple Under the Sea Diamonds. They’re SUPER sparkly. I love the diamonds because, you know…diamonds! 🙂

Queen & Company Under the Sea Kit - Sea Shells

Next I have a card using two of the different shell dies from the kit. I first die-cut diagonal strips from Foundation Dies #1 then white embossed the sentiment on the bottom strip.

Queen & Company Under the Sea Kit - Sea Shells (close-up)

Inside the pink shell I placed pink Under the Sea Diamonds, shell toppings and a sprinkling of glass flake toppings. I don’t really know if they’re glass, but they’re pretty.  🙂

Queen & Company Under the Sea Kit - Shark

And lastly (for today), I have a shark. He’s filled with the blue and black glass,  and clear bubbles (all included) as well as clear diamonds.

Queen & Company Under the Sea Kit - Shark (close-up)

The sentiment panel was die-cut using Foundation Dies #2 with a blue Goosebump on each side. (I ran the die-cut sentiment strip through my die-cutting machine twice, sliding down one side in the die to shorten the strip.)

Should you decide you love this kit as much as I do, there are refills available also: foam/acetate refills, topping refills, dies (available as part of the kit or separately), and Under the Sea paper pad. And don’t forget the super sparkly Under the Sea diamonds.  🙂

Thanks so much for visiting today! I’ll be back soon with three more cards using this fun set!

Make Today Great (paper smooches)

Paper Smoocheslatest release is so adorable. Seriously, SO cute! I shared my first card using the new Sunnyville stamp set HERE. Today I’ve turned to the new dies.  🙂

I used Sunny dies and Mini Clouds dies. They work perfectly together! The sentiment is from Sunnyville stamp set.

Before adhering the sun and clouds, I masked off a section of X-Press It Blending Card using Post It Tape then blended in blue to green using Distress Oxide inks in Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed.  (While I mostly use Blending Card for Copic coloring, I also like the bright white and the smoothness for easy blending.) At the base of the sponged area, I adhered several Mini Flowers, popping up every other flower on a foam square for added dimension.

You can find Paper Smooches‘ latest release HERE. And don’t forget that every order over $60 qualifies for a free stamp set! Simply state the stamp set you’d like (for FREE) in the comments section when placing your order.  🙂

Stamping Bella’s June Stamp of the Month

Hello everyone! This week the Stamping Bella team is featuring the June Stamp of the Month, Edna Loves to Sweep. The stamp set, as well as the coordinating die, are both 25% off through June 30.

Stamping Bella Edna Loves to Sweep, Tiny Townie Room Decor

I combined Edna Loves to Sweep with the lamp from Tiny Townie Room Decor. The images were both stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card then colored with Copic markers.

I placed a small foam square beneath the tea cups for an added bit of dimension. Once the stamped panel was assembled, I adhered to Queen & Company‘s Delightful Dots patterned paper and added a couple of Rubble Bubbles (also from Q&C).

Stamping Bella Uptown Girl Stephanie Loves Ballet

I also posted the above card this week on Instagram. I used Uptown Girl Stephanie Loves Ballet. (She’s so dainty!) She was also stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating die.

Copic markers – E00, E04, E11, E21, E35, E37, R20, RV10, RV11, W1; Kirarina Wink White Pearl pen
