Hi everyone! Distracting with crafting!

Today I’m popping in with a quick and easy card using Paper Smooches‘ Rainbow Sherbet die-cuts. There is no stamping at all here.

I used all die-cuts from the package other than the scalloped border and honeycomb pattern. The scalloped border and honeycomb pattern were cut using Fab Frames dies and Rainbow Sherbet patterned paper.

Once assembled, I poked a couple holes in the sentiment strip and tied it onto the frame using hemp cord. I used a few clear foam squares to adhere the strip in place.

Hi everyone. How is the social distancing going for you? Today my daughter and I attempted homemade pasta. Yes, we were bored. Well, she was. The pasta was “ok.” Would we do it again? Nope. Haha. How are you spending your time? Have you tried anything new?

Today I’m sharing a quick and easy card using Flutterby from Paper Smooches‘ latest release.

Using my beloved Misti, I stamped each butterfly using pink then orange, yellow, etc. inks, stamping half the butterfly at a time.

I used a strip of Half Moon patterned paper across the top and bottom and stamped a sentiment from Delightful Greetings. Very easy.  🙂

Hello everyone! Since it’s basically spring here…in February…I thought it would be a great day to share a quick and easy card I created using Paper Smooches‘ Garden Greetings stamp set.

I first created a blended frame/background using Taylored Expressions’ Square Masking Stencil and Strawberry Milkshake/Cupcake inks. I stamped the image onto X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copic markers and then die-cut using Garden Greetings Icons dies.

Copic markers – R81, R83, R85, YG03, YG06, YG17

I die-cut three additional image shapes then stacked all to create a thicker image. ‘Friend’ was stamped from Just a Note, then I used Ranger’s Multi Medium Matte to adhere to the center of the square. A strip of Rainbow Sherbet patterned paper was slipped behind the square before adhering to my card front.

I created the above card last month but forgot to post so I’m slipping it in here. It was SUPER easy to create! First, matt a block of Half Moon patterned paper onto black card stock and adhere to card front.

Die-cut I Heart You outline die from black and red card stock. Also die-cut the base shape three times from white. Adhere the base shapes together then use the Multi Medium Matte fine tip to adhere the black frame. I then used We R Memory Keepers’ QuickStik to adhere the small pieces of red heart into each proper space.

The QuickStik is one of my *must have* tools. I’ve tried the tacky pencils and other pick-up tools but for me, none work as well as QuickStik. The tacky material lasts a LONG time and the opposite ends holds a removable pointy tip that helps with unreleasing the tiny pieces and holding each in place. 

Once assembled, adhere the shape over the patterned paper. So quick and easy!

Hello everyone. I hope your week has gotten off to a good start. I’m getting over some nasty sickness. Happy to be feeling more normal today. I’m not 100% but definately better.

My card today uses Winter Greetings with Winter Greetings Icons dies and Huge Snowflakes dies from Paper Smooches. Isn’t the snowman cute?

I did a bit of paper piecing with Rainbow Sherbet patterned paper. I also pieced tiny parts of the sentiment. Overall, it’s a quick and easy card.  🙂

Hello everyone! I hope you’re having a great start to your week! Today I’m sharing a card I created for someone special in Arizona.  I love all things southwestern so it’s always a treat to create anything in this theme.

I first created a blended background using Taylored Expressions’ Circle Masking Stencil and a cloud border die. To do so, I taped my card in place then taped the circle stencil over top. I die-cut a cloud border strip (the one I used is discontinued but these cloud border stencils would be a perfect substitute), then  starting at the top of the circle, I blended blue ink against the cloud border edge. I shifted the cloud border down, moving it to the left and right each time, applying less ink as I moved toward the bottom of the circle.

After die-cutting Paper Smooches‘ Cactus from (discontinued) patterned paper, I blended a bit of ink around the edges then adhered it over the circle using clear foam squares. The balloons were adhered with foam squares as well. Lastly, I stamped a bit of confetti from Birthday Bash stamp set and stamped ‘happy birthday’ from Sentiment Sampler. Pretty quick and easy.  🙂

My card features super cute new Happy Hellos stamp set with new Happy Hellos Icons dies. I also used previously released Honeycomb die which works perfectly with the little bee.  🙂

Copic markers – BG10, BG32, W2, Y21, YR23, YR24, 100

I die-cut the honeycomb from two patterned papers and paper-pieced “hi” using a third pattern, all from Carta Bella’s It’s a Girl. The bee was stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copic markers (listed above), die-cut and popped up on clear foam squares. As a finishing touch, I adhered a few Rainbow Hearts. (I love these hearts and use them often.)

Hello everyone! I have a simple card to share today using the new Hearts stencil and I Heart You dies from Paper Smooches.

I used Post It tape to hold my card front in place. I blended the hearts in two shades of pink ink, blending some without reinking the blender brush.

I die-cut i ♥ u several times from black card stock, adhered all together for a thicker/bolder appearance and adhered a matted strip of Half Moon patterned paper beneath. Super easy.  🙂
