for you…just beecause (paper smooches)

Hi everyone! Today I’m popping in to share a very quick little tag I created using Paper Smooches‘ new For You tag dies (and a little Courteous Cutie). 🙂

Michele Boyer - Paper Smooches

I die-cut the tag from patterned paper then adhered it to a second die-cut tag (white card stock) for added stability. I die-cut “for you” then adhered to the tag, linking the r and y.

The cute little bee is from new Courteous Cuties. The stamp set is FREE for the month of January with any $60 retail purchase! You can find the coordinating dies here.

Copic markers – R000, R01, Y17, Y18, YR24

I used Toffee ink to randomly stamp the bee and tiny heart over the kraft envelope, then used white ink (white embossed) to stamp “just beecause” which is from a coordinating sentiment set, Courteous Cuties 2. It perfectly compliments the stamps with lots of perfectly “punny” sentiments. 🙂

Stamping Bella January Release Previews – Squidgies and Poppies, and Bellarific Friday

Hello crafty friends! Thanks for stopping by today! My blog has been sooo busy… Thanks for hanging in with me. I’m curious to know which are your favorites so far from Stamping Bella‘s upcoming release (Monday, 1/16)? I think I like the Garden Girls the best. But I can’t pick just one. 🙂

Today I’m sharing my last two peeks, as well as this week’s Bellarific Friday challenge card.

First, meet Tiny Townie Garden Girl Poppy. I can’t say how much I adore her. That skirt. The flower in her hair. The striped tights. ♥ ♥ ♥ 🙂

And finally, last week’s challenge was to create a card using this {MojoBella} sketch:

Here’s mine, using Uptown Girl Ava Loves to Celebrate.

Ava is actually stamped on the inside of the card with a circular opening cut in the front for her to peek through.

The front sentiment is from Uptown Girl Brittany the Birthday Girl, and the inside sentiment is from Tiny Townie Birthday Party.

Taylored Expressions January Release Now Available!

Hi everyone! I hope you’ve enjoyed the design team previews of Taylored Expressions‘ January release this week! You can find everything, now available, HERE. Before you head over to the TE store, I have two more samples to share.

My first card uses new Wish Big stamp and die combo. I stamped the balloons in Lemon Meringue, Strawberry Milkshake and Cookie Monster dye inks. “Happy” was stamped in Oreo hybrid ink then colored with Copic markers.

I wanted the balloon strings to extend long enough to place the “happy” die-cut over so I did a tricky little extension. Using the die-cut “happy” as a guide, I stamped the top/straight portion of the balloon strings beneath the balloons. Then I inked the bottom portion of the string and stamped, carefully aligning with the previously stamped strings, and leaving a gap to be covered with the “happy” die-cut. Noone will ever know there’s a break in the line beneath the popped up word. 🙂

“Birthday” was stamped in Sugar Cube pigment ink onto Oreo card stock then white embossed. Lastly, I sprinkled some Little Bits Confetti.

Next, I’ve used new Exercise Grumplings (and coordinating die) with my favorite sentiment from the set. Haha!

I blended a bit of Sprinkles ink as a background then layered the Stitched Clouds with a Little Bits Sun and grass from Build a Scene Calendar 5×7.

That sentiment is so funny. It sounds exactly like something I would say. (Run, I do not.)

Stamping Bella January Release Preview – Garden Girl Lilac

Hi everyone! Today I am using another new Tiny Townie from Stamping Bella‘s upcoming January 16 release. Meet Garden Girl Lilac. She’s so, so sweet!

She was stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers. Once colored, I added dots of Glossy Accents to each of the flower centers, like little drops of dew. 🙂 The sentiment is from new Garden Girl Sentiments. This one is my favorite.

Taylored Expressions Signs of Llama Love

Hi everyone! It’s Day 3 of Taylored Expressions‘ January release previews! All new products will be available for purchase tomorrow at 7. a.m. PDT (10 a.m. EST).

My first card uses new Llama Love stamp and die combo. I chose one of four options for the face and embellished her with a cute dotted scarf.

Copic markers – E40, E41, E42, E43, R01, R02, R22, R83, R85, RV32, Y21

She’s layered atop a Falling Hearts Cutting Plate panel and a Wispy Grass Border. The sentiment was stamped in Sugar Cube pigment ink then white embossed.

Next, I’ve used super cute new Give Me a Sign stamp set.

I first stamped the giraffe then masked him and stamped the elephant in the bottom right corner. From there, I created masks and stamped each of the other critters around, then colored with Copic markers.

Once colored, I sprinkled around several pieces of Little Bits Birthday Confetti.

Taylored Expressions Magical Preview

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a couple more cards using Taylored Expressions‘ January 12 release. (Today’s sets are my favorite…until tomorrow. Haha. I love them all!)

Here I’ve used new Magical Day stamp and die combo along with new Stitched Cloud Duo. How cute is that dragon??? SO cute! I love the clouds too.

Copic markers – E51, E53, E55, R00, R02, G09, YG03, YG06, YG09

The fire is from By the Fireside, with flames die-cut from Watermelon, Candy Corn and Lemon Meringue card stock. The ombre look of the word “fire” was actually an accident as I didn’t fully ink the stamp before stamping. I decided I liked it like that and left it alone. 🙂

Next, I used Magical Day stamp and die combo, this time with new Cloud Nine Background.

I stamped Cloud Nine Background in Sugar Cube pigment ink then white embossed.

Copic markers – E31, E50, E51, E53, G09, R81, R83, R85, YG03, YG06, YG09

The Little Bits Balloons were die-cut from Sugar Cube card stock, colored with Copic markers and tied to the dragon’s tale, secured with Kool Tak Clear Foam Squares.

Stamping Bella January Release Preview – Chocolate and Orchids

Hello everyone! I’m back sharing two more samples from Stamping Bella‘s January 16 release! Today I have a new Edna image as well as a new Tiny Townie. 🙂

First, Edna Loves Chocolate. I love her and her dotted outfit! And her curly hair. And her little heart headband… 🙂

I think she’s taking inventory to make sure her kids haven’t been in that heart box. (That’s what I’d be doing.)

Taylored Expressions Day 1 Previews

Hello everyone! Welcome to Day 1 of Taylored Expressions‘ January 12 release previews! Today I’m sharing two cards. My first uses new Hello Script die and Kaleidoscope embossing folder.

I die-cut Hello Script three times from Oreo card stock, layered atop each other and adhered over the Sugar Cube Kaleidoscope panel.

The black and white dotted strip is a piece of washi tape adhered to Sugar Cube card stock then adhered over the embossed panel.

Next, I created a card using one of four new 3×4 Inspire Watercolor Panels.

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers with color scribbled onto an acrylic block then picked up with a water brush and applied to the panel.

Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers – Pale Green, Deep Green, Yellow, Orange, Brown

To add darker areas of color, I used the Real Brush Markers directly on the *dry* panel then added bits of water to blend.

Stamping Bella January Release Previews – Starting Now!

Hi everyone! I’m super excited to begin sharing samples of Stamping Bella‘s upcoming January 16 release! So much newness! And cuteness! (Just wait…)

Today I have a card using Bee Mine. (He’s a bee-wanna-bee.)

After coloring the bear, I added subtle sparkle to his wings using Clear and Buttermilk atyou Spica glitter pens.

Next is Smoochie Squidgy, from a new line of super-cute (and a bit chunky) cutie-pies!

Thinking of You (stamping bella)

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new year of Bellarific Fridays with Staming Bella! Today the team is featuring the current Stamp of the Month, Thinking of You-abella, 20% off through January 31.

I stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers. After paper-piecing the shirt (which I haven’t done in eons), I added bits of shadow using gray markers. The sentiment was die-cut using the coordinating Thinking of You-abella dies.
