Sorry I was So Prickly (taylored expressions)

Hi everyone! I’m popping in today to share a card I created using Lookin’ Sharp stamp and die combo from Taylored Expressions‘ latest release. I *love* when the dies come with the stamp set!

This is my favorite sentiment from this set. So funny! Cute cactus too. 🙂

I stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copics. The clouds are from Build a Scene Calendar 5 x 7. I popped up one cloud as well as the cactus on Kool Tak clear foam squares.

Copic markers – E08, E09, G29, R24, Y21, YG05, YG17, 0.3 Brown Multiliner

The sentiment was stamped using Sugar Cube pigment ink then white embossed. And I used a 0.3 brown Copic Multiliner to add faux stitching on the gingham.

you are loved (paper smooches)

Hi everyone! Happy New Year!

Today I’m sharing a card using a few new stamp and die sets now available from Paper Smooches. (You can see all of the latest release HERE.)

I used super adorable Courteous Cuties (free through 1/31/17 with any $60 retail order), Courteous Cuties Icons dies and You Are Loved die. The actual jellyfish image/stamp is holding onto a shell. I omitted the shell, stamped an extra arm and adhered it, wrapped around a die-cut Heart. I “fussy-cut” around the image then layered it atop an altered (white) jellyfish shape base with Kool Tak Clear Foam Squares between the layers for added dimension.
