Taylored Expressions Preview – Love Songs

Hi everyone! I’m back today sharing two more samples using new stamps and dies coming to Taylored Expressions‘ tomorrow, December 8 at 7 a.m. PDT.

All You Need is Love is a super cute sentiment set full of love song quotes. (You’ll soon have them stuck in your brain as well!)

On my first card I paired one of the love song sentiments with new If Hearts Could Talk stamp/die combo.

The If Critters Could Talk line of stamps always crack me up. There is a base figure with a separate stamp containing an assortment of facial expressions. I wanted my heart to appear to be belting out the song while floating in air, FULL of love. Haha!

Copic markers – R00, R81, R83, RV34

She was colored with Copic markers then surrounded by Little Bits Clouds and a Little Bits Love Note.

Next, I created a super simple, quick and easy card.

I used an All You Need is Love sentiment with a line of Little Bits Love Notes.

I adhered a strip of washi tape across the middle then colored the hearts with an R89 Copic marker, leaving a bit of the white card stock uncolored to create highlights.

Taylored Expressions Preview – The Birds & the Bees and Monkeys, Oh My!

Hello everyone! Welcome to a second day of sneak peeks at Taylored Expressions upcoming December 8 release! Today I’m sharing three Valentine treats as well as a birthday card for a certain little “monkey.” 🙂

To create my Valentine “treat holders” I used new The Birds & the Bees stamp set with coordinating dies.

Copic markers – BG10, BG11, BG13, BG32, N5, N7, R01, R02, R59, R81, R85, Y32, Y35, Y38, YR27

I die-cut the tags and scalloped squares using Build a Tag 2. After assembling the tags, I tied them to Kraft Mini Treat Sacks (also available in white). The sacks are the perfect size for a gift card and/or small candy treat.

Here I used the cute bird with a sentiment from new Filled with Love. I used my MISTI to position the sentiment in one line.

The sentiment below the two birds was stamped from new All You Need is Love.

As on the first tag (above), I used my MISTI to stamp “hugs & kisses” from Filled with Love onto a single line. XOXO is from Clearly Planned Chit Chat.

My next card uses new Roly Poly Monkey with new Roly Poly Sentiments. If you have any of the previously released Roly Poly dies, you’ll definitely want to add the new sentiment set to your shopping list. The sentiments are so cute and coordinate perfectly with the dies!

To go along with my monkey, I die-cut three Bold Balloons from patterned paper, wrapped string around the ends and tied to a Tag Stacklets 1.

Finished card size 5″ x 6 1/2″

Note that you will need a large(ish) circle die to use as a base for any of the Roly Poly dies. I used a Stitched Circle Stacklet for my base.

Taylored Expressions Preview – Floating and Falling Hearts

Hi everyone! I know this is a busy time for all so I appreciate your visit! 🙂

Today brings the first day of Taylored Expressions‘ December release previews where we’re moving right along to Valentine’s Day, love and hugs! ♥ All new products will be available for purchase on Thursday, December 8, 7 a.m. PDT.

On my first card I used new Falling Hearts Cutting Plate with Sweet Script and stamp sentiments from How Sweet It Is. The cute giraffe is from previouly released Hippo Birdy.

To achieve the stitched borders on the sentiment panel, I used the long edge of a Stitched Rectangle Stacklet die, taping the die in place before running the card stock through my die-cutting machine.

Copic markers – E41, RV11

Sweet Script was cut from Cupcake card stock, with the giraffe inserted through the loop of the “t.”

My next sample uses new Floating Hearts Cutting Plate (see promo info below!), Loved Script and stamped sentiments from How Sweet It Is.

The sentiment was placed/stamped within a Stitched Circle Stacklet with a Noteworthy Belly Band placed beneath.

To add a bit of sparkle, I adhered three small Swarovski crystals beneath “loved.”

From Our Home to Yours (stamping bella)

Hello, everyone! It’s another Bellarific Friday with Stamping Bella! Last week’s challenge was to use holiday colors. That was super easy! I used Bella’s Stamp of the Month for December, Uptown Girl Chrystal’s Christmas Label, available at 20% off through December 31st.

She would be so very pretty on a package (or anything, really). Today she’s on a card. 🙂

I stamped her onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers. Along the bottom, I adhered a strip of washi tape from Simple Stories Mistletoe Kisses with a bit of gold twine.

ho ho ho – A Copic Coloring Tutorial (taylored expressions)

Ho, ho, ho everyone! I’m trying so hard to get into the holiday spirit here. So far it’s not really working. (Too much roaming around in my brain, I think.)
