Taylored Expressions November Release – My Amazing Friend

Hi everyone! It’s release day with Taylored Expressions! All new products are now available for purchase right HERE.

Today I have a card to share using new Noteworthy and Flowers for a Year stamp sets.

MICHELE-Card-ProjectTHURS

I stamped the flowers onto Sugar Cube card stock, colored with Copic markers and die-cut with the coordinating Flowers For a Year die. The sentiments were stamped using new Noteworthy stamp set, “Handmade for You” stamped in Oreo ink and “my amazing friend” stamped in Sugar Cube pigment ink (then white embossed). I used the circle from new Noteworthy Belly Band to die-cut the circle element.

Taylored Expressions November Release Preview – Monogrammed Notepads

Hi everyone! Welcome back to another day of November release previews with Taylored Expressions! All new products will be available for sale tomorrow, Thursday, November 3rd.  🙂

Today we’re sharing projects using TE’s new Initially monogram dies. Each initial die set includes one large uppercase initial measuring just over 3 1/2″ tall, a smaller uppercase initial measuring 1″ and one lowercase initial measuring 3/4″. (Height of lowercase initials varies within m, h, j, etc.)

I created several monogramed notepads using Initially M, A, K and L with new Garden Party background. (See info below on how you can receive the Garden Party background for FREE.)

I purchased four 4″ x 6″ mini notepads from Target for $1.99 each. (Beware of the “ruled” notation. The pads are not in fact ruled. They are plain paper.)

I stamped the Garden Party background in new Blue Corn ink, as well as Peapod, Plum Punch and Toffee onto Sugar Cube card stock. I cut the panels to 4″ x 5 1/4″, added a strip of Oreo card stock to the bottom and adhered to the paper pad. (I ♥ how these turned out!)

Inside each circle, I stamped “handmade for you” from new Noteworthy stamp set. To add a bit of dimension to the monomgram, I die-cut each letter four times, glued the layers together and adhered within the circle.

Taylored Expressions November Release Preview – Flowers for a Year Notecards

Hi everyone! I’m back today with more samples using Taylored Expressions‘ newest releases available Thursday, November 3rd. Today the team is sharing a variety of note cards, perfect for gift-giving this holiday season (or for your own use)! 🙂

Michele-Notecards-Group-500

My cards feature new Flowers for a Year stamp set with coordinating dies as well as new Herringbone embossing folder. Flowers For a Year includes twelve floral images and sentiments, perfect for notecards and/or calendars.

All images were colored with Copic markers.

For my mother-in-law (planning ahead!), I created a birthday card using the cactus with a sentiment stamped onto a Banner Stacklets 1 die-cut.

I placed a Kool Tak clear foam square beneath the top of the cactus to balance the layers.

Next, I used the scalloped frame and tiny butterflies from new Build a Scene Calendar 2 to frame the daisies.

Best-Wishes-CU

I adhered the butterflies in the center only so that the edges could each tip up just a bit.

Here I raised the sunflowers on clear foam squares and framed again with the scallops.

Just-a-Note-CU

To add just a bit of interest, I adhered a tiny brown pearl onto the jar.

Lastly, I adhered the geraniums (I think they’re geraniums?) using clear foam squares, allowing the flowers to extend past the scalloped frame edge.

Get-Well-Wishes-CU

Instead of coloring in the small circles on the band around the vase/wood bucket, I adhered three tiny brown pearls.

Michele-Envelopes-500

To create quick and easy coordinating envelopes, I stamped each image using Versamark then heat embossed using a variety of embossing powders. (Also available in the TE store are kraft, white and cream A2 envelopes as well as clear card boxes.)
