You Make the World a Better Place (stamping bella)

Hi everyone. I hope you’re enjoying the last bits of summer. I can’t believe it’s almost September. (128 days until Christmas! haha.)

It’s time for another challenge with Stamping Bella. This week we’ve used the inspiration photo found at the bottom of this post. That lovely bouquet reminded me of love and romance so I used Uptown Couple Emily and Ryan Under the Umbrella.

After coloring the image with Copic markers, I sprinkled some tiny hearts like falling rain.  The sentiment, from Bunny Pile Stuffies, is the perfect fit.

Trick or Treat (taylored expressions)

Hi everyone!  I’m recently back from vacation and trying to get into the swing of things here. A nasty summer cold is not helping, but this morning I am feeling a tiny bit better (thankfully).  🙂

My card today uses new Critters in Costume stamp set and coordinating dies from Taylored Expressions. The stripes, from Playful Patterns-Haunted, are also from TE.

Michele Boyer - Taylored Expressions

The critters were stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card using TE Oreo hybrid ink then colored with Copic markers. After die-cutting, I adhered them over a sponged background created with Lemon Meringue, Peapod, Granny Smith and Chocolate Truffle inks.  I chose a few stars from Build a Scene Halloween Sequins to sprinkle in the sky.

Hi everyone! It’s Bellarific Friday! Today I’m sharing a card using this week’s {Mojo}Bella sketch found at the end of this post. I used one of Stamping Bella‘s newest Bella 2.0 images, Yogabella.

Michele Boyer - Stamping Bella

Too Cute to Spook (taylored expressions)

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a card using new By the Fireside dies now available from Taylored Expressions.  I had such a fun time creating my little scene. 🙂

Michele Boyer - Taylored Expressions

I framed a sentiment from Critters in Costume, drawing in the “string” with a Copic Multiliner and “hanging”the frame from a tiny brad. On the mantle I placed a cute Fox (my favorite TE character) dressed in a Little Bits Witch Hat along with a tiny shaker Potion Bottle containing Build a Scene-Halloween sequins. The ghost near the fire is also from the sequins collection.

Michele Boyer - Taylored Expressions

I used an opaque white pen to write “boo” on a Skinny Mini Party Border then tied tiny bows on each side (colored with a Copic marker) and popped up the middle on a clear foam square.

Thanks so much for visiting today!

You Brighten My Day (paper smooches)

Hi everyone!  I hope you’re enjoying your summer! 🙂

My card today features super cute new Lights dies now available from Paper Smooches. (You can see all of the most recent releases HERE.)

Michele Boyer - Paper Smooches

I die-cut the lightbulbs from both watercolor paper and cardstock, adding just a bit of paint inside the bulbs. The sentiment is from We Totally Click. (It’s super cute too.)  🙂

Taylored Expressions August Release – Eek!

Hi everyone!  It’s Release Day with Taylored Expressions!  You can find all of the new products now available for sale right HERE!

Today I used new Diagonal Stripes Cutting Plate to create a mummy card.

Michele Boyer - Taylored Expressions

After die-cutting from Sugar Cube card stock, I used a blending tool to sponge the edges of each piece with Granny Smith ink.  I die-cut circles to create the eyes (with the whites edged in Candy Corn). “Eek!” is from new Boo to You stamp set and the tiny spider is from Little Bits Spider & Web.

Congrats from the gang (paper smooches)

Hi everyone! I created a fun card today using Paper Smooches‘ new Pen dies and Noteworthy stamp set.

Michele Boyer - Paper Smooches

I die-cut the pens from card stock and then a variety of coordinating patterned papers. The smiley faces were die-cut using the eyes and mouth from new Lights dies. Once assembled, I decided to add a bit more personality to a couple of the pens using glasses and a bow tie from Fruit People dies.  The bow tie is adhered only in the middle, leaving the sides to bend up a bit.  🙂

Pretty quick and pretty easy.  🙂

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek, Day 1 – Gone Batty

Hi everyone! It’s time to begin sharing samples of Taylored Expressions August 4 release!  Today I’ve used new Gone Batty stamp and die combo, Spooky Clouds, stars from Little Bits Moon & Stars, and new Diagonal Stripes Cutting Plate. I also used fabulous new Sugar Cube pigment ink. (I’m super excited about this ink!)

Michele Boyer - Taylored Expressions

I first taped off a small border around the front of my card base then brushed over with a clear Wink of Stella glitter brush. I cut two Diagonal Stripes outlines, one from Oreo card stock and one from a thin(ish) piece of cardboard. They were layered and adhered over the sparkly Earl Grey card base.
