This week with Kraftin Kimmie my fellow krafty girl, Melanie, is challenging us to make a shaped card (anything but square). Since my brain is in multiple places at the moment, I decided to go with a simple circle. If you’d like to play along with the challenge, be sure to post a link to your creation HERE on the Krafty blog for your chance to win a free stamp from Kraftin Kimmie.
Sandy Wishes
I used all Nestabilities to create my card. The card base was cut into a circle using my biggest round Nestie with the layered scalloped circle attached to the circle base.
After coloring Sandcastle Miles, I added lots of sparkle to the sand using a Buttermilk Spica glitter pen. A black 3-d glaze pen added a bit of dimension and shine to Miles eyes. And the layout was inspired by an older Mojo Monday sketch.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
