Clocktower Cottage

Today brings the release of another Thomas Kinkade image from Cornish Heritage FarmsClocktower Cottage.  I used one of my favorite techniques for TK images, Vintage Vellum.

I stamped the image onto vellum using Adirondack Espresso ink.  Once the ink was dry, I used Copic markers to color the backside of the image.

I then trimmed the image, leaving a small border, cut a block of Natural cardstock to the same size, and adhered the vellum using Tombow Mono Multi.  I carefully and lightly applied the glue around the edges, behind dark marker or ink.  The upper left corner is blue sky so I added a small dot of thinly spread glue in the corner.  (The glue doesn’t show through the vellum at all.)

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I’ll be back tomorrow with a cheesy ghostly greeting! 🙂
