Ahoy Matey!

Check out the Stamp of the Month for October at Cornish Heritage Farms.  Oh my gosh…I think this is my favorite so far!  And it’s not just a stamp.  It’s a whole set…and it’s adorable!!!

You’re a Treasure

Six images, four sentiments…it’s called Ahoy Matey and it’s available tomorrow, October 1st.

This morning I was in the area of my kind-of-local scrap store and since I was so close, I just had to go in.  I found this new Halloween paper by My Mind’s Eye called Spooked.  I only got two sheets and now I wish I’d picked up several.

YATCU2I randomly stamped the little skull on the star paper.  (There’s also a bigger skull in the set.)  The parrot is paper-pieced with the wing popped up.  I masked all those little jewels and skulls in the birdbath. Glitter pens gave the jewels and earring lots of sparkle, and I used a clear gel pen over the skulls.  The parrot’s hat and the birdbath are both embossed using Ranger’s Black Soot Distress embossing powder.  I think that’s it! 🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!
