Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a couple cards I created using Queen & Company‘s super cute Under the Sea Shaker Kit.  It’s definitely at the top of my list of favorite kits. Included are 16 dies, a 6″ x 6″ paper pad, 4″ x 6″ stamp set, 27 foam and acetate shakers and 13 toppings. Most of the ingredients are also available as refills HERE.

How cute is that mermaid?  I especially like the little detail of the slit in her hair into which her head/body is inserted.

All of the toppings I added to the shaker are included in the kit. As an extra, I added those beautiful Sea Stone embellishments. I *love* them. They’re available in a bundle of eight colors (ALL lovely) or individually. I used purple.  I also added a sprinkling of Jelly Gems. The tiny white dots on the shell were added using my Kirarina Wink White Pearl pen.

Next, I used the cute crab. To cut the wavy lines I used one of the four dies from Curvy Borders.

All toppings are included in the kit except I did add a few clear Diamonds.

Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing three shaped cards I created using Queen & Company‘s Donut Shaker Kit. I adore Q&C’s kits as they’re so easy and quick to put together. And who doesn’t like receiving a fun shaker card in the mail?

The kit includes Donut shaker dies, Donut outline die, 2×3 stamp set with very cute sentiments, four foam/acetate shakers, four shaped cardstock bases and four envelopes. Die measures approximately 5×5. Shaker elements are sold separately and a Shaped Donut Foam Refill kit is coming soon.

On my first card, I used the donut kit with pretty Happy Hearts patterned paper and Sweet Shop Solids.

After filling with buttons, Pops, Princess Toppings and sequins, I wrapped trim around a die-cut heart and secured over the acetate with Sheer Glue.

On my second card, a chocolate donut, I used Sweet Shop Solids. Isn’t the sentiment cute? So the card/donut wouldn’t look too plain when standing upright, I adhered a variety of epoxy dots over the acetate (outside of the shaker).

Inside, I placed buttons and Princess Cut Toppings.

Lastly, I used my favorite sentiment from the set with Sweet Shop patterned paper and Sweet Shop Solids.

Inside, I placed pink Flower Buttons with a sprinkling of sequins and (currently unavailable) candy toppings. Before adhering the inner circle outline, I tied the tag-shaped sentiment with pink trim.

All of Queen & Company‘s shaker kits are loads of fun and come together quickly and easily. I highly recommend them.  🙂

Hi everyone! I’m back today to share more cards using another of Queen & Company‘s fun new Shaped Shaker kits. The Butterfly kit includes the shaker die, stitched outline die, a 2×3 stamp set, four foam/acetate shakers, four shaped cardstock bases and four envelopes.  The kit is so very easy to use!

I first used the Butterfly outline die to cut the dotted Sweet Shop patterned paper. I adhered the foam shaker base and filled the wings with Bitty Buttons, blue and pink Flower Buttons and pink Pastel Diamonds.

After adhering the acetate, I stamped the sentiment in black and pink ink (using my MISTI and removable tape for masking to achieve perfect alignment). I die-cut the pink plaid outline (also from Sweet Shop), then tucked the sentiment strip ends beneath the outline and over the body before adhering. Lastly, I glued three black Bitty Buttons over the body piece. Once completely assembled, I adhered to the card base.

To create the purple butterfly, I die-cut the blue floral outline from Bring on Spring then adhered the foam base. To enclose the body area, I cut and adhered strips of scrap foam from the wings. Inside the wings, I stitched buttons from Purple Button Bouquet and Flower Buttons then added some purple Polka Dot Enamel Dots.

I filled the body with purple Ombre Pearls then trimmed and adhered the body portion from an acetate shape.  The purple patterned outline was cut from Under the Sea paper pad and the sentiment was stamped and tucked beneath a button. (I  cut the left end of the strip to a tag shape and secured beneath the button with a bit of glue.)

On my last Butterfly Shaker, I used a base and outline of Bring on Spring patterned paper with white Button Bouquet, white Jewel stars and pastel orange and clear Diamonds inside.

I stamped the sentiment, adding a thin scrap strip of striped paper then tucked it beneath some white and pink pearl flowers. (Note: The pink flower is actually from the Red Pearl Flower set. The Pink Pearl Flowers are a brighter pink.)

Also, add a Clear Diamond refill to your order. If you’re like me, you’ll want to add them to everything and run out very quickly!

Hello everyone!  I hope you are well. I’m doing my best to remain positive.

It’s a beautiful spring day here so I thought I’d share some fun new spring/summer Shaped Shaker cards using a kit now available from Queen & Company.

The Flower Shaker kit includes the flower shaker die, stitched flower outline die, a 2×3 stamp set, four foam and acetate shakers, four shaped cardstock bases and four envelopes! Sooooo fun!

On my first Flower Shaker I used lovely Flirty Florals patterned paper with the sentiment stamped onto a strip die-cut using Foundations 4. On each side of the sentiment I stitched a pink button.

Inside the shaker areas I placed new Bitty Buttons in pink, yellow and white with a sprinkling of Sequin Confetti also in the center.

On the above Flower Shaker I used Under the Sea and All Bundled Up patterned paper. The sentiment was broken up into several lines and aligned using my MISTI.

Inside the shaker areas I used Bitty Buttons in purple and pink and sprinkled in some pink and white Pops toppings. Before adhering the white sentiment piece, I stitched a few purple heart shaped buttons.

On my third Flower Shaker card I used white card stock for the stitched outline and pink and yellow paper from Bring on Spring paper pad.

In the shaker I placed clear Diamonds as well as black Bitty Buttons and Black/White larger buttons. To the left of the sentiment I stitched a new Black/White Flower button.

Hello everyone! I’ve been having lots of fun creating with new Queen & Company products. Today I can share a bit with you. (MUCH more to come!)  🙂

On my first card, I used a rainbow of Daisy flowers with super sparkly Glitter Globes adhered to the centers. Daisies are available in eight colors as one bundle or individual colors. Glitter Globes are currently available as a bundle (eight cards, 20 stones each). They are sooo pretty! The sentiment is from new Art Days Shaker kit. I’ll feature that kit here soon.

Here I used orange Daisy flowers with orange button centers. The curved borders were created using a Curvy Border die. Sentiment is from Windows Shaped Shaker kit (as featured HERE), and I used my favorite Simple Stripes patterned paper.

Above, I used new Fun Flowers with another Curvy Border, Sentiment Stackers 1 and Simple Stripes. I highly recommend Sheer Glue for adhering flowers (or anything) to card stock.

And one more card using white Fun Flowers, an oval from Foundations 5, Sentiment Stackers 2, Flirty Florals patterned paper and a sprinkling of yellow Epoxy Dots.

Hello again! I’m back today to share two cards I created using Queen & Company‘s ultra-fun Windows Shaped Shaker kit and several new products coming soon to the Q&C shop.

The Windows Shaped Shaker kit includes 11 dies, pre-cut foam and acetate and a versatile stamp set. The pre-cut foam and acetate make the shakers so very easy to assemble!

I first used the dome window with brand new Bitty Buttons and a sprinkling of Pastel Diamonds inside.

The sentiment was stamped onto a die-cut shape from Foundations 2. In the center of each flower I adhered new Ice Flowers.

Next, I created a happy hello window with flower box.

Inside the shaker, I placed red, white and blue Pops.  The sentiment was stamped onto another of the shapes from Foundations 2.

Hello! Today I have a really fun card to share using Queen & Company‘s Fruit Basket Shaker Kit. It’s one of my favorites, probably because I adore the cute fruit shaker toppings.  They’re adorable in the shaker as well as outside, used as little embellishments.  🙂

The kit includes a themed paper pad, dies, stamp set, custom toppings and foam/acetate pieces. Plenty to make quite a number of shaker cards.

Along with the tiny grapefruit slices, I also added in some Diamonds, pink Pops and yellow Gems.  The diamond toppings are amazing and available in sets or individual refills. I use a lot of clear diamonds so that is awesome news to me!

To adhere the outer frames and additional toppings on the card front, I find that Sheer Glue works best. If I accidentally use a bit too much glue and it squishes out from underneath, I use a dampened Q-tip or corner of a paper towel to gently wipe away the excess.

Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting today!  I’ve been playing some more with Queen & Company‘s SUPER fun Under the Sea Kit. It truly is an amazing kit!

Lots of dies, toppings, coordinating stamp set, foam/acetate, idea sheet… All you really need is adhesive, ink and card stock. But plan for time, only because it is SO addictive!

Here I’ve used the sweet mermaid again, adding an embossed panel of bubbles and a star fish behind her. (My first mermaid card can be found HERE.) I used a Kirarina Wink White Pearl glitter pen to add a bit of detail to the starfish. I love that the dies cut the faux stitching. That little bit adds so much!

Inside the mermaid’s tail, I used toppings from the kit as well as a sprinkling of tiny white stars from Jewels. Sooooo soooo cute. And sparkly! I also decided to add a bit of blush to the mermaid’s cheeks. I used Jane Davenports Birthday Suit Pastel Palette and a q-tip.

If you like the ocean or know someone who does, I highly recommend this kit for some super quick and EASY cards they are sure to love! (Refills also available!) When grabbing your kit, also pick up the brand new Sea Stone Bundle.

They coordinate PERFECTLY! (They’re on my wish list.)

Hello! Today I’m sharing two more cards using Queen & Company‘s awesome Sentiment Stackers and Foundation Dies.  (You can view my previous posts using these fun products HERE and HERE.) Each Sentiment Stacker set comes with 20+ dies and a coordinating sentiment stamp set.  And the Foundation dies are perfect bases for sentiments or stamped images. Very versatile!

On this card I used the flower die from Foundation Dies 2 and sentiment from Sentiment Stackers Dies 2.

I cut thin strips of Delightful Dots patterned paper, adhering each strip to white cardstock in a rainbow pattern then die-cut into the flower shape. Once adhered to my card front, I added Solid Goosebumps to each center.

Here I created a super quick and easy baby card using Sentiment Stackers 2 and Foundation Dies 1.

The sentiment was assembled and adhered to the foundation dies, then adhered to pretty Flirty Florals patterned paper. Lastly, I added a few irridescent white Spirals.
