Furry & Bright

Hello everyone! I’m popping in tonight to share a card using another of Purple Onion Designs‘ latest images from the new Winter/Holiday release. 🙂

Purple Onion Designs Three Dog Holiday/Furry Friends Sentiment

Three Dog Holiday is one of the super-cute images from Shari Bresicani‘s “It’s Snowing Cats and Dogs.” Isn’t it super cute? I love it.

After stamping the image onto X-Press It Blending Card, I colored with Copic markers then cut it out to adhere over a blended sky background. I added tiny rhinestones to the tree and then flurries using a white Sharpie. The sentiment is from new Furry Friends sentiment set.

There are quite a few dog and cat images in the release, and they’re available as a set or individually. You can find them all HERE.

Purple Onion Designs Winter/Holiday Release

Purple Onion Designs Release

Hello again! I’m excited to share a few samples over the next couple weeks using Purple Onion Designs‘ Winter/Holiday release, now available for purchase! The release includes Stacey Yacula‘s “I’ll be Home for the Holidays” as well as “It’s Snowing Cats and Dogs” and “Snow Much Fun” by artist Shari Bresicani. My card today uses images from “I’ll Be Home for the Holidays.”

Purple Onion Designs Eddie & Ethel, Holiday House

I’ve paired sweet bunny grandparents, Eddie & Ethel, with Holiday House Background and a Home for the Holidays sentiment.

The images were stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers. I used a red Kirarina 2Win oil-based marker to add berries to the little wreaths. To add a bit of dimension, I adhered the bottom edge of the bunnies directly to the paper and placed foam tape beneath their heads.

You can find the entire new release here. It’s absolutely adorable! 🙂

The Happiest Holidays (with Gnomedeer)

Hello everyone! Happy Friday to you! It’s a *very* wet one here. Lots of rain…gloomy…very yucky.

This week the Stamping Bella team is sharing creations using images from the latest release. I decided on Gnomedeer. I love them.

Stamping Bella Gnomedeer

As you can see, my current phase of paper-piecing continues. I couldn’t resist giving each one his own holiday pattern hat. 🙂

Copic markers – C00, C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, E33, E35, G05, G09, G19, G28

After stamping onto X-Press It Blending Card and coloring with Copic markers, I stamped the hats onto several patterns, cut out and added shading with gray markers. (Paper is from a very old Doodlebug Design paper pad. I really should shop for some current paper pads…even though I have an overabundance of old.)

NEXT WEEK’S CHALLENGE

Use any current Stamping Bella image. (No restrictions.) All challenge details can be found HERE.

Have a great weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello everyone. Another busy week has passed. Thanksgiving will be here before we know it. Fall is my favorite season so I’m looking forward to the cooler weather and falling leaves. With that in mind, the Stamping Bella team is designing with images based on the photo at the end of this post.

Stamping Bella Bundle Girl on a Turkey

I chose sweet Bundle Girl on a Turkey. It cracks me up. 🙂 She was stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.

Copic markers – E000, E00, E04, E08, E09, E11, E21, E25, E27, E29, E42, E43, W00, W1, W2, Y15, Y18, Y39, YR16, YR18

Once colored, I matted the image onto Queen & Company‘s Happy Harvest patterned paper, added a Fall Sentiment and then a sprinkling of tiny die-cut leaves.

My Cup of Tea

Hello everyone! Happy Friday to you! A couple weeks ago the Stamping Bella team featured creations using the October Stamp of the Month, Curvy Girl Loves Halloween, which is available through 10/31 at 50% off. Today the team is sharing designs using other images from the Curvy Girls category.

Stamping Bella Curvy Girl Loves Tea

I selected Curvy Girl Loves Tea. I stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers. And yes, I’m still on my paper-piecing frenzy. 🙂 Here I used quite old Papertrey Ink Green Tea Leaves Text Style paper to add pattern to her dress.

Copic markers – E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, E23, E25, E29, G09, G21, G24, R02, R12, W00, W1, W2, W3

The cute little tea pot charm was given to me many moons ago by my sweet friend, Lori Craig.

Happy Fall/Happy Frankie

Hello everyone! I don’t know why but this week has seemed so very long. But it’s finally Friday! 🙂

This week the Stamping Bella team is creating with “vintage images,” or any image not included in the “what’s new” category.

Stamping Bella Caramel Apple Bundle Girl
Copic markers – E000, E00, E04, E08, E09, E11, E21, E31, E33, E35, G46, R89, W00, W1, W2, W3, YG63, YG67

I was in the mood to paper-piece (again) so I chose sweet Caramel Apple Bundle Girl. I adore the Bundle Girls and it’s a bonus that they have bigger open spaces, perfect for the paper-piecing technique. Once stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers, I used one of my favorite very old paper pads, Lily Bee Designs Autumn Spice. I truly wish that company was still around. All of their prints were small, perfect for card making, and just lovely. I also used my white Sharpie to add a few highlights to the apples and caramel.

Stamping Bella Oddball Frankenstein
Copic markers – BG11, E35, N5, N7, N9, V09, V15, YG03, YG05,YG07, YG09, YR07, YR09,YR68

This week I also colored Oddball Frankenstein. He is paired with Queen & Company‘s Hocus Pocus patterned paper with a scattering of small stars and black rhinestones in the sky. Sentiment is from Oddball Pumpkin Pile.

NEXT WEEK’S CHALLENGE

Use any current image from the Stamp of the Month category, Curvy Girls. As a reminder, Curvy Girl Loves Halloween is available at 50% off through October 31, 2021. All challenge details can be found HERE.

Thanks so much for visiting today!

Hocus Pocus

Hello everyone! Happy Friday to you! This week the Stamping Bella team is sharing creations using the October Stamp of the Month, Curvy Girl Loves Halloween. The set, which includes the image plus two sentiments, is available through October 31, 2021 at 50% off.

Stamping Bella Curvy Girl Loves Halloween

I paired the image with Queen & Company‘s Hocus Pocus patterned paper. Along with some tiny purple rhinestones, I die-cut a few stars, scattered over the grid paper.

Stamping Bella Curvy Girl Loves Halloween (close-up)
Copic markers – BG13, BV08, BV09, E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, E33, G07, R01, V09, W09, Y21, Y38, YR14, YR18, YR23

Image was stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers. I used a fine tip white Sharpie to add a bit of faux sparkle to the dress and hat.

Stamping Bella Curvy Girl Loves Autumn

This week I also colored pretty Curvy Girl Loves Autumn. I adore the flowers in her hair. 🙂

Stamping Bella Curvy Girl Loves Autumn (close-up)
Copic markers – E000, E00, E04, E08, E09, E21, E32, E25, E27, E29, E30, E31, E33, E35, E37, E42, G28, G43, G46, R01, W00, W1, W2, W3, Y21, YR23

After coloring, I decided to paper-piece her scarf, then used gray markers to add a bit of dimension over the pattern.

NEXT WEEK’S CHALLENGE

Use a vintage Stamping Bella image, meaning one NOT from the current/most recent release. (If the image is not listed in the “what’s new” category, then it’s considered “vintage.”) All challenge details can be found HERE.

Never Stop Dreaming

Hello everyone! Happy Friday to you! This week the Stamping Bella team is creating with images from the latest release.

Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Astronauts and Starry Sky Backdrop

I chose new Tiny Townie Astronauts. I love that the set comes with four different little astronaut images. I stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers. I used a fine tip pen to add the dotted heart design on the flag and a white Sharpie to add dots to the space suits.

Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Astronauts and Starry Sky Backdrop
Copic markers – B000, B69, B91, B93, B95, E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, E23, E25, E27, E29, E31, E35, R01, Y21

To create the background, I first dotted the black card stock with a powder tool then stamped Starry Sky Backdrop using white pigment ink. I covered the panel with white detail embossing powder then heat embossed. Once assembled, I added a sprinkling of tiny clear rhinestone gems onto the background.

Stamping Bella Astrology Chart

This week I also posted in Instagram the above card using new Astrology Chart. The set comes with the chart, the Tiny Townie girl and the sentiment. Note: I used my MISTI to rearrange the breaking of the sentiment to better fit the space on my card.

Copic markers – BG70, E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, E23, E25, E27, E29, E40, E79, G40, G43, G46, R01, W1, W2, Y000, Y21, Y38, YR23, YR31

I paper-pieced the dress then added a row of rhinestones around the inner circle of the chart. To add a bit of dimension, I placed a foam square behind the girl’s head while attaching the lower part of her body directly onto the card front.

NEXT WEEK’S CHALLENGE

Use any current Stamping Bella image. (No restrictions.) All challenge details can be found HERE.

Have a great weekend!
