Hello! I hope you are all having a nice weekend! I’ve been trying to get caught up on some DT work and a few other things, but I wanted to take the time to make a special thank you card for my in-laws. They are so very generous, but more important than that, they are very special people and I feel very lucky to have them in my life. They live in Arizona, so I tried to make this card a bit southwestern-ish.
I don’t know what type of flower this is, but I thought it looked like a hot weather plant (lol). I pulled the colors from the patterned paper, using SU markers directly on the stamps. I stamped multiple times before re-inking, added a lot of sponging and then added the little scattered faux stitches. All stamps are by Cornish Heritage Farms.
Thanks so much for looking! Enjoy the rest of the weekend! 🙂
