Welcome to MFT‘s July New Product Launch!  All new products you’ve seen previewed over the last week are now available to you right HERE!

Be sure to visit each of the MFT Designers’ July Product Launch posts linked on the MFT Blog and leave a comment by the end of the day on Thursday, July 10 for your chance to win one of two $100 Gift Vouchers. (WOW!) The winners will be chosen at random and the prizes will be sent out on July 11.

I have three cards to share tonight, all using new Birdie Brown Designs with other new products mixed in as well.

My first card focuses mainly on BBD Sweet Birthday Wishes.

Images were stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers. The tag was die-cut from Blueprints 1, perfectly sized for the sentiment.

Inside, I stamped two additional sentiments from the set as well as a little cupcake.

Next, I used the cupcake stand from the set as well as the banner flags and frame from new Blueprints 17.  I die-cut the cupcakes using Sweet Birthday Wishes Die-namics, colored with markers then added tiny rhinestones for cherries.

Flags were cut from Wild Cherry, Sour Apple and Berrylicious card stock and I used Blueprints 8 to die-cut the small hearts.  The Happy Birthday Background was stamped in Banana Split dye ink.

Inside, I included a sentiment and die-cut balloon.

On my last card, I used the balloon stamp from Sweet Birthday Wishes with Pure Innocence Happy Banner.  The word “birthday” was stamped from new Happy Everything stamp set.

After stamping and coloring, I added a few sequins, attached with Glossy Accents.  The scalloped borders were cut from Bubblegum card stock using Blueprints 4, then colored over with an R22 Copic marker to match the balloon.

Inside, I stamped a sentiment from Happy Banner and gifts from Sweet Birthday Wishes.

Don’t forget to check out the MFT Blog for direct links to samples using all of the new products!   And as you look, don’t forget to comment for your chance to win one of TWO $100 Gift Vouchers!!! :)

MFT July Previews, Happy Everything

Hi everyone!  I have one last preview to share before MFT‘s July New Product Launch tonight at 10 p.m. EST.  I used Happy Everything with Happy Die-namics.  🙂

The word “happy” was die-cut from Sweet Tooth, Pink Lemonade, Cotton Candy and Razzle Berry card stock.  “Everything” was stamped in Sweet Tooth pigment ink then white embossed.  I used small clear rhinestones to a bit of sparkle along each side.

Inside, I stamped a sentiment from Celebrate Big and added a strip of Diagonal Stripes Background, both stamped in Razzle Berry dye ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I’ll be back tonight at 10 p.m. EST for the New Product Launch!

Have a Lovely Day, Copic Winner

Hi everyone!  Today I have another sample to share using one of Paper Smooches‘ latest releases, Blossoming Buds.  And yes, I have the Copic Give-away winner too.  (I won’t make you wait!)  Congrats to Miriam Prantner, #6! Thank you to all who commented!  ♥

Now on to my card.  I just love the new Blossoming Buds set.  So pretty and so much fun to color.  🙂

I repeatedly stamped the flowers onto X-Press It Blending Card using MFT’s Black Licorice hybrid ink then colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment was stamped onto vellum with Sweet Tooth pigment ink then white embossed.  I stamped a few additional flowers, cut out and colored, adhered over the like images below the vellum then added Glossy Accents to the centers.  I used a Copic Multi-liner to add in the stems on the vellum.

Inside, I stamped a sentiment from Scripty Sayings and added a bloom to the start of the sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  🙂

Additional supplies/info:  Copic markers (V12, V15, V17, R30, R32, Y21, YR23, YG93, YG95, YG97, E31, E33, E35, E40, E43, C00, C1, C3, BG70), white embossing powder.  Finished size 4 3/4″ x 4 3/4″.

MFT July Previews, Bring on the Cake

Hi everyone!    I’m back today with another sample of MFT‘s July release. Today I used fun new Bring on the Cake Die-namics with Delicious Birthday stamp set (as well as several other Die-namics sets).

To create my patterned cake, I used the flourish from Bride & Groom Die-namics, dots from Blueprints 11, stripes from Blueprints 2 and a pretty bow from new Blueprints 17.  Along the edges of the white panel, I added a Mini Scallop Edge of gold.

The sentiment was stamped using Versamark and then gold embossed.

Inside, I gold embossed a second sentiment from Delicious Birthday and added a few die-cut candles to the bottom.

MFT July Previews, Birthday Chalkboard Greetings

Hi everyone!  Welcome to another day of MFT July previews!  Today I’ve used Birthday Chalkboard Greetings with Diagonal Stripe Background.

The greeting was stamped onto Black Licorice card stock using Sweet Tooth pigment ink then white embossed.  After matting onto Red Hot card stock, I used a paper towel to swipe just a bit of “chalk” (white ink) across the sentiment.

The Diagonal Stripes were stamped first in Red Hot dye ink, then stamped again in Black Licorice after rotating the stamp.

Inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Birthday Chalkboard Greetings and added a scrap of leftover Diagonal Stripes.

MFT July Previews, PI Happy Banner

Hi everyone!  I’m back for another day of the MFT July Release Countdown. Only four days to go!  🙂

Today I’ve used new Pure Innocence Happy Banner with Happy Birthday Background and Pinking Edge Circle STAX to create a one-layer card.

After die-cutting my Sour Apple Pinking Edge Circle and X-Press It Blending Card Circle, I applied Grapesicle ink, then Sno Cone and Sour Apple inks to new Happy Birthday Background.  (Just be sure to apply lightest inks first, moving on to darker.)

The girl was die-cut from Blending Card using coordinating PI Happy Banner Die-namics, stamped in Black Licorice hybrid ink and colored with Copic markers.  (The black hybrid ink works beautifully with Copics.  No bleeding whatsoever.)  I placed small pieces of foam tape behind her hands to raise those areas just a bit.

Inside, I stamped the image and a second sentiment using Black Licorice dye ink. (It’s a little thicker and I wanted slightly bolder lines.  )

MFT July Previews, happy BIRTHDAY

Hi everyone!  I’m back today with another preview of My Favorite Things‘ July 8 release!  (Only five more days!)  Today I’ve used new Happy Everything stamp set with Happy Die-namics, Balloon STAX and Grid Stencil.

I really like this color combo of Blu Raspberry, Spearmint and Smooth White.   I embossed only the top portion of Smooth White using new Grid Stencil and Embossing Pad.   (I love using my stencils this way.)  By not embossing the bottom I was able to stamp the remainder of the sentiment using Blu Raspberry hybrid ink.

Inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Happy Everything and added a fourth die-cut balloon.

MFT July Previews, Happy Birthday

Hi everyone!  Welcome back to a second day of July 8 release previews with My Favorite Things!  Today I’ve used our new Birdie Brown stamp set, Sweet Birthday Wishes, along with Celebrate You and Blueprints 17.

I created a card by die-cutting two of the “chalkboard” (or, in my case, “whiteboard”) pieces first from cardboard, then four from Red Hot card stock (one for each side of the two pieces).  I cut an additional piece of Red Hot card stock to cover the back of the front with a 1/4″ folded flap at the top which I inserted between the cardboard and card stock of the back piece. (Clear as mud?)

The cute girl was die-cut from X-Press It Blending Card using coordinating Sweet Birthday Wishes Die-namics, then colored with Copic markers (as were the gifts).  The sentiment is stamped from Celebrate You.

Inside, I stamped a sentiment from the Birthday Wishes set as well as a few balloons, masked and colored.

MFT July Previews, Celebrate You

Hi everyone!  It’s time for July previews with MFT!  If you’ve been a fan for a while, you know that July is the month we celebrate MFT’s birthday as well as Kim’s (super-fabulous “MFT Lady”).  And boy oh, boy do we have a bunch of amazing birthday themed stamps and dies for you!  So much fun!

I have two samples today, a his and a hers.  Ladies first…

My first card uses new Celebrate You stamp set (by Lisa Johnson Designs) as well Blueprints 17.

I die-cut pieces from Blueprints 17 using bright Razzle Berry card stock, stamping the sentiment, gifts and flags to match with Razzle Berry and Black Licorice dye inks.  I love the embossed wood grain design on the frame.

Inside, I stamped a second sentiment and added a big, bright gift.

Next I have a masculine birthday card using Chocolate Brown, Kraft and Smooth White card stock.  I used new Birthday Chalkboard Greetings with Happy Birthday Background and Blueprints 17.

Flags are attached to hemp cord and raised on foam tape.

Inside, I used a leftover piece of the birthday text and stamped a sentiment from Birthday Chalkboard Greetings.
