Happy Holidays

It’s time for another sketch with My Favorite Things!  Another nice, straight sketch.  😉

For my card this week, I’ve used Pure Innocence “Stocking Girl.” I love that her pj’s are so easy to paper-piece.

I pieced her little slippers (because they just have to match the pajamas, and the stocking was pieced as well.  The buttons were touched with a black 3-d glaze pen for a tiny bit of dimension and shine.

For the sentiment, I die-cut two of the same Mix & Match Banner pieces (from yesterday’s release).  I adhered the two together, attached them at the top with zig-zag stitching and placed a foam booster underneath for a little lift.  The string was dyed with an R59 Copic.

On the inside, I stamped another sentiment from the set and die-cut two holly leaves using one of the dies from Christmas Ornaments Die-namics.  The “berries” were simply punched using a 1/8″  hole punch.

You can find direct links to DT samples HERE on the MFT blog.  The info is also posted in the MFT Forum in SCS.  (Look for the most recent WSC thread numbered 49.)   And remember, if you upload your card to the SCS gallery using the keyword shown on the sketch, you will have the chance to win up to $20 in MFT money!  One winner is chosen at random each week.

Thanks for visiting!  Have a great day!  🙂
