August MFT Release Hop & Shop

I’ve Got My Eye On You…always

Tonight I’ve used one of our two new à la modes sets, I Spy.   I especially like this one for a couple of reasons.  First, the image is a little bigger than most of the à la modes so it’s a wee bit easier to color. But most of all, I love this set because it reminds me of my kids.  When they were smaller (and even now sometimes), I’d put one of my eyes up to one of theirs and say “I’ve got my eye on you,”  usually in a joking manner.   (Sometimes not.) 

I colored with Copics and pieced the skirt.  The grass was added using Prismacolor pencils.

On the inside, I stamped a silhouette of the image and added that wee bit of the sentiment from Clearly Sentimental about Birthdays (the same sentiment from yesterday’s card). 

All the new sets and Die-namics are now available here, but first please continue on with the hop with sweet JOANNE.  (I had such fun at CHA with quite a few of the MFT girls.  They are ALL sweet.  AND funny.  AND crazy.  Love them!)   🙂
