Hi everyone. Happy weekend (or what’s left of it). I’ve done nothing today but sit on the couch with a sick boy. I guess we’re still deciding just how sick, but he has a sore throat and has been on the couch literally all day. I hope he’s better tomorrow. 🙁
Last month I won this really pretty Flourishes set, Butterflies & Blossoms, from Danielle‘s blog. Thank you again, Danielle!! 🙂 It’s been sooo long since I’ve gotten flowery like this, but once I got going, it all came together.
To My Wonderful Friend
I have issues with the bow but besides that, I’m happy with how this turned out. (I may HAVE to change that bow before this goes anywhere…maybe it needs more loops. I don’t know…it needs something…) I decided to add more loops to my bow. Erin, you were right! Thanks! NOW, I like the whole card! 🙂
I colored with Copics, using wispy strokes and gray for shading.
I stamped and colored the butterfly twice, bent up the wings on each side of the body on the cut-out piece and glued over the first image.
Along the bottom, I used my Faux Crochet Die-namics die by My Favorite Things.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll be back soon!
