Sorry I was Late

When I first saw this set, I knew without a doubt which sentiment I’d be using first.  When my kids were small(er) and we’d be scrambling to get in the car, buckling car seats, etc., I always used to say “We’re late, we’re late…for a very important date.”  They’d giggle and cooperate.   It still works…sometimes.

It’s hard to see in the photo, but I popped up the bottom edge of Alice’s apron.  I used a Making Memories button to simulate a door knob and I drew in the little key hole.

I like to leave lots of room on the inside of my cards for personal notes so I stamped the remainder of the sentiment and used some of the ‘already cut’ pieces of patterned paper to “fancy it up” just a bit.
