Going My Way?

TGIF!  🙂   For the next few days I’ll be previewing Kraftin’ Kimmie‘s new January releases.   Fun!

As I mentioned yesterday, this month the Moonlight Whispers line has a steampunk theme.  Kimmie summed it up perfectly…”Think Victorian England, gadgets, mechanics, goggles, time travel and airships.”   I had never heard of steampunk, but I think I like it.  🙂

To go along with the new images, Jeanne created the perfect sentiment set, “Steampunk Phrases.”

Going My Way?

This is Emelia.  I struggled a bit with her, I think mostly because the image itself is not very feminine.  I tried airplane paper but it just didn’t look right to me…too boyish.  So I opted for a semi-feminine paper combination with a semi-flower-ish print (lol).

The arrow is Tim Holtz Idea-ology Harlequin Grungeboard.  I especially like the pieces when colored with a Copic marker.  The coloring creates an almost suede-like appearance.   (I don’t like the weird smell of the grungeboard though.  Do you know what I’m talking about?  Maybe it’s just me.)

Be sure to check out the other design team members’ blogs for more previews!  The links are on my sidebar.  I’ll be back tomorrow with another!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!
