Thinking of Hoo…Thinking of You

Hi everyone. 🙂   I wanted to quicky share a card using MFT’s October kit, Thinking of Hoo.  It’s my favorite so far of all the kits.  That little owl is too cute.

I used the Memory Box Butterfield patterned paper from the kit as well as the baby metal braddies.

I stamped the owl/branch onto the “sky” paper then again onto cream cardstock.  I colored the images on the cream cardstock then cut them out and adhered them over the sky paper.  I did this to add just a bit of dimension without popping things up. 

I used a black 3-d glaze pen on the eyes and then stamped the two hearts below the branch and drew in tiny strings. 

There are only a few of these kits left so if you want one, you need to hurry!  The stamp set may or may not be released later on its own.  (I’m hoping it is because I adore it!)
