MFT Teaser–The Pampered Bunny

Hi everyone!  I have a teaser to share today using one of My Favorite Things new releases, Bubble Bunny, available tomorrow night at 10 p.m.

Pampered Bunny = Hoppy Bunny

     MFTPBHB

I combined a few MFT sets here.  The table is from You Take the Cake, books from Catch Some Rays, wine and grapes from Let’s Picnic and MFTHBCUflower from Serenity Now.  (Apparently this bunny will be swigging from the bottle as I forgot to include a glass.)

I used Eclipse Masking Panels to layer my images and a 1/4″ circle punch to create my cucumber slice (which I stacked atop two layered glue dots).

Be sure to join us tomorrow night at 10 p.m. EST for the mid-month release blog hop.  It’s going to be a good one! 🙂

And don’t forget to check out the Bubble Bin.  All sets listed are only $3 EACH (through July 19)!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!  🙂

I love you, mower and “mower”…

Hi all!  I wanted to share another of my favorite of the new releases from Whipper Snapper.  (You can see all of the Fall/Winter releases here.)  This one kind of cracked me up, mostly because I’ve known a few men who actually do love their mowers.  **snort**  Anyway…I thought it was cute.  🙂

I Love you Mower

Pretty simple…colored with Copics and the sentiment was already in position so I didn’t have to worry about where to put it.

Coffee Makes me Hoppy

      MFTCMMH

This is I Need Coffee Flopsey by My Favorite Things.  I love Flopsey.  (And I love coffee…and I still need my coffee.  Errand #1.)

See that little smiley face in the ‘o’ in Hoppy?  My daughter did that.  She also cut her own hair this week….because it had syrup in it.  Now I’m pretty sure that would have shampooed out but for some reason that thought never ocurred to her.  She did a pretty choppy job too so guess where else we’re going?  Errand #2.)

Be sure to check out this week’s Bubble Bin.  There’s a lot of cute stuff in there this week and some of it is pretty new!

You also may want to check out Kathy’s tutorial on how to print MFT’s digi-papers on fabric.  You can find that here.  She has some AMAZING samples for you!

Ok…we’re off.  Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Christmas in July

How in the world can it be Thursday already?  This week just flew by!  I’m happy to say my husband is finally on the mend from the “flu-turned-bronchitis.”  Poor guy.  I had bronchitis a year or two ago and it was one of the sickest times I can ever remember.  I’m so glad he’s feeling better.  I was getting pretty worried.

This week’s WT challenge at Splitcoast Stampers is Christmas in July.  I have a new release holiday image to share from Whipper Snapper Designs.  🙂

Tis the Season

     WSDTTS

This is Think Snow-man.  I colored him with Copics, layering a brown over the red to get the color I wanted on his coat.

On the ribbon I tied a little jingle bell.

You can find the link to the challenge here if you’d like to play along.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I’m off to the ….can you guess?  lol.  …You know.  Have a great day!

It’s the Little Things

Super quick post as I’m super tired.  Hubby is still sick (back to the doctor tomorrow) and I’ve been trying to keep the kids busy …and quiet–ha, that’s a losing battle.  I took them out this afternoon to see “Up.”  It was really cute.  I think I took it a little too sentimentally though.  I was teary-eyed throughout a good portion of it.

It’s the Little Things

       WSDITLT

This is another of Whipper Snapper‘s new release images.  I paired it with one of Anna’s Friendly Expressions sentiments.  The stamp actually reads “It’s the little things you do that make all the difference” but I omitted the “you do” to change the meaning.

I’m off to bed.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great night/day!

Stamps:  Whipper Snapper Designs “Fish School” and “Friendly Expressions” (Anna WightInk:  Memento Tuxedo Black   Cardstock:  Prism Majestic Purple Medium, Super Smooth White    Patterned Paper:  Doodlebug Design “Deep Blue Sea” and “High Tide”  Accessories:  Copic markers (B93, B97, V12, V15, V17, C1), eyelets, pop dots, Fiskars Rotary Trimmer/wave blade.

Let the Birthday Bash Begin!

Hi everyone!  Not only are we celebrating the birth of our nation today, but this weekend My Favorite Things turns THREE!  (We’ll be celebrating that all month long.)  AND tomorrow is Kim‘s birthday (Miss MFT herself)!

Happy Birthday

     MFTHBK

I’m a little late with getting my card in the mail, but this is for Kim…and MFT.  (See, three candles.)  I used one of my first MFT sets, You Take the Cake.  I paper-pieced the girl…because that’s what I like to do 🙂 , the cake was colored and popped up, and I used clear MFTHBCUcrystals in the centers of some of the flowers.  Beneath the card is a matching envelope I made from two pieces of cardstock and scraps of the patterned paper.   The inside of the card is finished as well and reads “You take the cake.”

So how are we celebrating at MFT?

This weekend ONLY (July 4th and 5th), we are offering a Buy 3, Get 2 FREE promo!

Purchase any 3 full-priced stamp sets (excludes July new releases) and we will add:

I don’t know how much celebrating we will be doing today as my husband is still sick.  (He’s a little better.)  We’ll see how the day goes.  But for my US friends, have a very safe and FUN Fourth!

Dude…

Hi everyone!  It’s Thursday!  One day closer to the holiday (if you’re in the U.S., that is).  I don’t know how much fun we will be having.  My husband is home sick with the flu.  Hopefully it will skidaddle out of here by tomorrow without infecting anyone else.  **crossing fingers**

Did you know that Whipper Snapper Designs has just released 175 new images?  I know, it’s a LOT.  You can see them all here.  I have quite a few samples to share over the next few weeks.  Here’s my first.

You’re the coolest!

      WSDYTC

Meet Whipper’s Big Kahuna.  I did my best to match the mouse’s shorts to my paper.  I split the sentiment so I could punch it out using an oval punch, then I cut off the bottom and added some “sand.”  (My attempt at creating a surfboard-ish shaped sentiment.)

That’s it for today!  I’m off to pour some Ginger Ale.  Thanks for stopping by!

Stamps:  WSD “The Big Kahuna” and “You’re the Coolest”   Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black   Cardstock:  Prism Birchtone Medium and Dark, Super Smooth White   Patterned PaperPink Paislee “Flower Beds” and “Rain Showers”  Accessories:  Copic markers, scrapbook tacks, oval punches, pop dots. Finished size 5” x 5”.

Weekly Spotlight 07/01-07/07

MFTSLHi everyone!   This week’s spotlight with My Favorite Things is on Glittered Dots and Flowers.

Let’s Make Up

     MFTLMU

This set is Puttin’ on the Glitz, a new release from MFT available tonight.  I used my favorite (of the five) sentiments.

Eclipse masking panels were used to mask the girl, then the stool before stamping the table and mirror onto one of MFT’s Perfect Panels.  (Copics blend so nicely on this paper!)  I didn’t plan far enough ahead with the cosmetics so they were stamped separately, cut out and adhered to the table.

I used two of the flowers from the Glittered Dots set to add a bit of sparkle to the upper right corner, and the satiny ribbon is from MFT’s Royalty Collection ribbon nest.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Stamps:  MFT “Puttin’ on the Glitz”  Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black  Cardstock:  Prism Rose Medium, MFT Perfect Panels  Patterned Paper:  Melissa Frances “Nancy”  Accessories:  Copic markers (R00, R20, R22, E0000, E00, E31, E35, C1, C3), MFT Royalty Ribbon, Martha Stewart border punch, rhinestone flowers from Glittered Dots and Flowers, Eclipse Masking Panels.  Finished size 5 ¼” x 5 ¼”.
