Weekly Spotlight 4/6-4/10

MFTWSTGIM!

This week’s spotlight with My Favorite Things is on Powder Keg embossing powders.

Your spotlight savings:  All embossing powders are on sale for $4 each.  Have you seen them?  They’re very cool.  Each jar has a main color (of course) but there are tiny flecks of other colors within the jar.  When you go to the website (here), click on one of the circles to see it up close.

This card took a huge turn away from my original intention…not that I know exactly what that was, but this was not it (at all).

The Best Things in Life

I am embossing powder-challenged.  I mostly only use it to help a sentiment stand out on patterned paper.  My sentiment here is BTCCUembossed, as is the main image.  Embossing the main image can make the coloring easier (otherwise known as “staying inside the lines”) and it also adds a bit more interest for the recipient.

My little swirly clip with the ribbon was inspired by Jessie and I added the brads in the corners because one corner was not perfect (and I wanted to humor my good friend, G. She likes when I call her G.  lol)

Thanks so  much for stopping by!  Have a great day!  (I’m not really here.  I’m slumming it (ha!) in Arizona, enjoying this wonderful warmth and sunshine.)  🙂
