Time for another Ways to Use It challenge at SCS! Today’s challenge is to use paint. I decided to paint the chipboard flower and sponge a bit around the edges of my brown cardstock. Normally, I would use craft ink for that, but since the paint was already out, I figured what the heck. 🙂
After I painted the flower and attached it with the velvet ribbon, I decided I wanted to add a bit of color to the edges. To do this, I used a Copic colorless blender pen to pick up just a tad of color from a pink marker. Once the bit of color was on the flower, I was able to move it just where I wanted it.
The stamps are from Gina K‘s new Stamps for a Cause set, “How Sweet it Is!” When I saw the stork, I knew I *had* to have this set. But it also truly is for a good cause. It was created to raise money for research to help adults and children who suffer with diabetes. I just couldn’t pass on it. It’s cute, it’s fun and it helps! (Click here for more information.)
Thanks so much for looking! Have a great day!
