These little Bitzy Bugs drew me to C.C. Designs (available from All That Scraps). I think they are just the cutest! My daughter adores them. I stamp images for her to color and she sits with me, making her own “cards.” It’s so cute. (She’s actually pretty good at pulling colors together and she’s excellent at coloring. I often stop what I’m doing just to watch her…until she notices me staring, of course.)
I used “Ballerina Bitzy Bug” and the small solid shadow spot. The sentiment is by Stamping Bella. All coloring was done with Copic markers.
I popped up the little skirt using a thin strip of dimensional tape, then I added a bit of liquid glue to the top, pushing down the “waistline” using the tip of my scissors so the skirt would appear “attached.” I colored a white brad with a brown Copic. (I cannot believe that I, user of so much brown, don’t have any brown brads!! But I know where to get some! 🙂 ) I used a waterbrush to add the bit of color to the sentiment. The flowers are medium Sea Prima Mini-Me’s. I needed something brown behind them so I used SU’s flower punch. Cardstock is Bazzill Pistachio Criss Cross, and you can find the ribbon (which inspired the whole card-lol) here.
