Welcome to Kraftin Kimmie Stamps‘ April release! There are lots of fun new images yet again this month!   Cheryl has created another super-cute set, Playtime Lulu.  We have two fun Bug Buddies sets by Emilie Goulet and  six *really* fun Wizard of Oz images by Annie Rodrigue.  There is also a coordinating Wizard of Oz Sentiments set.

You’ll see most of the new images throughout the hop.  If you’ve come from Pam, you’re right on track.  But if you just popped in to my blog, you may want to start at the beginning HERE. Otherwise you will have missed more than half of the hop!

Be sure to leave comments as you look because two winners will each receive a package of assorted stamps from the release!

This is my favorite of my samples from this month’s release.  I just adore Scarecrow.  And the sentiment…hee, hee.   I ♥ it!  So fun and silly.

I colored with Copics, added grass/ground with pencils and roughened the edges a bit before adding the stitching.

It’s Saturday–Moonlight Whispers Preview Day.  And Challenge Day!  🙂

Today the Kraftin Kimmie DT and guests are previewing six new Wizard of Oz images created by Annie Rodrigue!  To go along with the images, we also have a coordinating Wizard of Oz Sentiments set.  Perfect…and SO much fun!  All new images will be available Sunday, April 22.

It’s Day 2 of previews of Kraftin Kimmie‘s April 22 release!  This month Emilie Goulet has come up with two fun bug sets – Bug Buddies 1 and Bug Buddies 2.

This cute bee, as well as the sentiment, is from Bug Buddies 2.

The bee was colored with Copics, then stamped and colored a second time to add dimension.

Dimensional tip:  When popping up an image, cut out only the parts that would naturally appear raised.  For example, here I cut out the bee’s body and the two little legs hanging closest to the wings.  The remaining legs, wings and antennae were left to show through from the lower image.

Hi everyone!  It’s time to share previews of Kraftin’ Kimmie‘s April 22 release! Today the team is posting samples using Playtime Lulu by Cheryl Alger.  The set includes three sweet Lulu images along with four coordinating sentiments.

This cute Lulu has been tapping into her crafty side.  🙂

After coloring with Copics, I used a clear glaze pen to add shine to the paint and Lulu’s buttons.  Her palette is raised on foam boosters and the grass was drawn in using colored pencils.

Hi everyone!  It’s time for another challenge with Kraftin Kimmie and the Krafty Girls!  This week Kerry has provided us with an inspirational photo.  You can find it, as well as other samples for this week’s challenge HERE on the Krafty Blog.

This week I’ve used Poppy from the Moonlight Whispers collection along with a sentiment from Flower Sentiments.

Looking at my card, it doesn’t seem obvious that I began looking at the inspirational photo, but I did.  You just never know which way things will turn.  😉

After coloring the dress with red Copics, I added the darker (underneath) shadow using W5 and W7 markers.  The tiny dots around the oval were created using a Wine Copic Multiliner along with my paper-piercing guide for equal spacing.

Hi everyone.   I’m back today to share an extra  gnome card I created from Kraftin Kimmie’s March release gnomies.  🙂

This little guy is from What’s Up Gnomie? The sentiment is from the second gnome set, Hangin’ With My Gnomies.

I colored with Copics, added ground with colored pencils and created little flags for my sentiment, attaching each to a “post” (jute string) using small paperclips.  I added a little French knot at the top of the string to resemble a ball at the top of a pole/post.

Today I’ve used this gorgeous gal speeding along in her spiffy convertible.  Cute, huh?

As always, I colored with Copics.  And although it doesn’t show in the photo, I added lots of (subtle) sparkle to the car and sunglasses using a clear Spica glitter pen.
