Hi everyone! I finally had a bit of time to delve into my new Stamping Bella stamps. (One down and about 15 more to go. lol.) I had to go for the cute little fisherman first. 🙂
Just Dropping You a Line
In anticipation of my order, I picked up this boyish paper by 3 Bugs in a Rug the last time I was in my semi-local scrap store. I wish it weren’t such a drive to get there, but then again, that might be a good thing.
I added two tiny silver brads on the boy’s overalls and used a spare button to the left of the sentiment. Since I like to pop up the whole front panel anyway, there was plenty of room to accommodate the shank.
I punched a hole where I wanted to place the button, cut a long thin strip of cardstock, folded it over two or three times and slipped the folded strip through the shank to hold the button in place. I added a bit of glue too, just in case.
Isn’t he cute? 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!
