Hi everyone! It’s time for this month’s Creative Challenge with My Favorite Things! The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme, product, or technique. This month we are highlighting our favorite color combinations using MFT Ink, cardstock, buttons, ribbon, and felt.
Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for a list of all participating designers who have a project to share with you today.
I love the combination of Hot Fudge, Limeade and Razzle Berry. So bright. And fun. 🙂
Here, I’ve combined those colors with Doodle Garden Sweet Friend. I stamped the image using Memento ink onto X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copics, then framed the image using dies from new Blueprints 1 Die-namics. The sentiment was divided to fit inside the circle, die-cut and matted using Circle STAX 1 and 2.
On the inside, I added a leftover strip of the green paper and stamped a simple silhouette using dark brown ink.
My second favorite MFT color combo is Kraft with Sno Cone. I pretty much like Kraft paired with anything, but I especially like it paired with the pale blue. Here I combined those colors (along with a bit of red) using Doodle Garden Fluttering By. I used white ink and Spring Backgrounds (Lisa Johnson Designs) to create a subtle pattern on the Sno Cone panel.
The sentiment was stamped using Black Licorice ink onto a Mini Tabs Foursome. My flower was die-cut from Kraft and Sno Cone cardstock using Flower Medley with a Kraft button stitched into the center using Hemp Cord. The frame, scalloped panel and blue “stitched” strip were cut using Blueprints 1.
On the inside, is stamped a sentiment from Pure Innocence All Occasion Sentiments (in Black Licorice ink) and a partial silhouette in Sno Cone ink.

Thanks for so much for visiting today! 🙂
