More Witchy, Witchy

It’s time for another challenge with Kraftin Kimmie.  This week Kerry has challenged us to use school or office supplies.

Happy, Happy Halloweenie

I wanted to play with more of Kimmie’s latest spooky release so I this week I chose Moaning Moira.  🙂

I wasn’t too terribly adventurous with my office supplies.  I simply used staples (in the bottom left corner of my image panel and to adhere the sentiment).

For direct links to more DT samples, check out the Krafty Blog HERE.  If you’d like to play along, be sure to post a link to your creation there on the Krafty Blog for your chance to win a free stamp from Kraftin Kimmie!

Don’t forget to check out this week’s Frugal Friday specials HERE And be sure to check out Kimmie’s give-away if you haven’t already done so!  You can do that HERE.

MFT Teasers, Day 4

Hello.  🙂  I’m back today for Day 4 of September previews with My Favorite Things!  Check out the MFT Blog here for direct links to all design team samples.  Remember to leave comments along the way for your chance to win one of FOURTEEN $10 gift vouchers!

Today the team is previewing two new Die-namics/Stamp set combos — Homespun Birdhouse and First Class Friend.

If you know me, you know I’m an image girl.  I s-t-r-u-g-g-l-e-d here.  Seriously struggled.

Friends Stick Together

With this set you can create your own “postage” themed messages.  LOTS of fun sentiments and pieces.  I really do love it….for other people.   (I need things to color.)

I created my stamp (several times–thus the thickness) and then die-cut a black piece to use as a shadow.  To cover the 3″ x 3″ envelope, I simply traced the flaps onto the patterned paper, cut out the pieces and adhered them to the envelope.

On the inside, I stamped a second of the sentiments, added another black shadow and a little paper clip.

See?  Isn’t that FUN?  **sigh**

Today the team is previewing Clearly Sentimental about Family and All Smiles, two new sentiment sets.  The sentiment on the front of my card is from All Smiles.

May Every Part of Your Day Have Happy In It

I’m going to say my card was quick and easy since it looks like it should have been quick and easy.

On the inside, I used a sentiment from More Essential Sentiments.

In the bottom corner, I placed two small hearts, die-cut using the tiny heart from MFT’s Notched Tag Die-namics and Stamp Set.  The one in the front is popped up on a small foam booster.

MFT Teasers, Day 2

Hi everyone!  The My Favorite Things team is back for Day 2 (0f 7) September previews.  You can find direct links to all participating DT here on the MFT blog.

My sample today is actually one of my favorites of this release.  (So far, anyway.  I haven’t yet finished them all.  Eek!  Time’s a ticking).

You Are Beautiful

Today we’re previewing Inspired by Flowers #3.  This set comes with three beautiful floral images as well as three sentiments.  I’ve split this one, using half on the front, half on the inside.

Pulling double duty, my card also works as a sample for this month’s Guest Designer Contest, Rip and Roll.  I distressed my papers, adding little rips and rolls here and there, and I included three Rolled Flowers.  To create the three flowers, I actually only die-cut two.  The larger one is a full roll.  To make the two smaller ones, I rolled the first a little more than halfway, then used the remaining piece to roll the smaller flower.

I distressed my papers on the inside as well, added a couple of flourishes from Sassy & Sweet and adhered a scrap of lace trim.
