Hanging with My Gnomies

Hello everyone! I hope your week has been fine. Today the Stamping Bella team is creating using this photo as inspiration:

I kept my card simple using Gnome Pile and a cloud border.

I stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment was attached using my favorite tiny stapler.

While I had the cloud border and ink out, I decided to create a second card using Gnome on a Swing. I adore the sentiment. I respositioned the words a bit using my Misti. As a finishing touch, I added some white dots to the hat and a handful of Queen & Company‘s sparkly jelly gems around the branch.

NEXT WEEK’S CHALLENGE

Use an image from the latest release.  All challenge details can be found HERE.

Wishing You the Best Day Ever

Hello everyone! Happy Friday! This week the Stamping Bella team is revisiting older images. It’s been a while since I’ve colored one of the Tiny Townie Garden Girls so I chose one of those.  🙂

Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Garden Girl Violet

First I stamped Floral Forest Backdrop onto X-Press It Blending Card using a lavender ink. I adhered the gingham strip at the base of the flowers then stamped a Happy Birthday Sentiment and adhered some of Queen & Company‘s pretty Gerber Daisies.

Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Garden Girl Violet (close-up)

Copic markers – E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, E43, E44, E47, E49, V12, V15, V17, V99, YG05

Garden Girl Violet was also stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and then colored with Copic markers. I used a fine point white Sharpie to add dots to the flowers. When adhering her over the stamped background, I glued her legs directly to the paper and placed a foam square beneath her head. This added just a bit of dimension to the image.

NEXT WEEK’S CHALLENGE

Next week we’re using images from the Stamp of the Month category, Exclusive or Miscellaneous images. As a reminder, Cacti stamp set is available at 50% off through July 31, 2021. All challenge details can be found HERE.

Life Doesn’t Have to Be Perfect

Hello, hello! What’s new this week? Nothing here.

Today the Stamping Bella team is creating with the July Stamp of the Month, Cacti. The set consists of five lovely cacti and sentiment, 50% off through July 31st.

Stamping Bella Cacti

Copic markers – E07, E08, E09, E35, G21, G85, G94, G99, RV66, RV69, V06, Y35, YG63, YG67, YG99, YR14

I blended a bit of a sunrise with Distress Inks then die-cut the rectangle, leaving a bit of a white edge. Cacti were stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.  I also used a Dandelion Kirarina Wink pen to add a bit of dotted design to each pot.

Stamping Bella Hayley the Hero

Copic markers – B26, B28, B29, BG10, C00, C1, C2, C3, E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, E23, E25, E29, E49, R24, R29, R59, R89, Y21, YR23

This week I also colored sweet Hayley the Hero from the Tiny Townie collection. She’s very patriotic.  🙂

NEXT WEEK’S CHALLENGE

Use a vintage Stamping Bella image, meaning one NOT from the current/most recent release. (If the image is not listed in the “what’s new” category, then it’s considered “vintage.”) All challenge details can be found HERE.

Miss You

TGIF, everyone! I hope your week is going well. Today the Stamping Bella team is creating with images from the latest release. I chose lovely Curvy Girl with a Sign.

Stamping Bella Curvy Girl with a Sign

Copic markers – BG90, BG93, BG96, C00, C1, E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, E31, E35, E37, E40, E42, R83, R85, RV11, RV32

Beside the fact that she’s fun to color, she comes along with five different sentiments to stamp inside the sign. Very versatile. After stamping onto X-Press It Blending Card and coloring with Copic markers, I layered her atop pretty Queen & Company Happy Hearts patterned paper.

Stamping Bella Gnome in the Hammock

Copic markers – BG10, BG11, BG70, BG13, BG15, BG18, E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, E30, E31, E33, E35, E37, G24, R02, R21, W0, W1, W2, W3, W5, Y21, YG03, YG05, YG09, YR23

Also this week, I colored Gnome in the Hammock.  I love to paper-piece the hammock. Adding just a bit of shading makes it look like he’s really hanging inside. The sentiment is from Edna the Everything Fairy.

NEXT WEEK’S CHALLENGE

Use any current Stamping Bella image. (No restrictions.) All challenge details can be found HERE.

This week the Stamping Bella team is using images from the Tiny Townie category. (You can still get Tiny Townie Blossom Loves Balloons at 50% off, through June 30, 2021.)

I’ve used Tiny Townie with an Elephant. So sweet!  After coloring the elephant and Tiny Townie’s skin and hat, I paper-pieced her dress using Queen & Company‘s new Color Splash Basics Slimline 6×12 patterned paper. For added interest, I tied a bit of white string around her waist.

Stamping Bella Fishing Squidgy

Copic markers – B93, B95, B97, BG10, BG11, E000, E00, E04, E09, E11, E15, E21, E31, E33, E35, E97, G21, G24, G28, R01, R02, R24, R59, Y21, YR23

Speedy Recovery and a Tire Swing

Hello everyone! I hope it’s a happy Friday where you are. 🙂  This week the Stamping Bella team is creating with “vintage” images. I chose one of my favorites from the Edna the Fairy Godmother collection, Edna to the Rescue.

Stamping Bella Edna to the Rescue

    Copic markers – B21, B24, C00, C1, C2, E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, E31, E35, E37, E50, E51, R01, R02, R29, R89, Y21

I love her and the big bandage.  I stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copic markers and then added dots with an extra fine point white Sharpie.  For an added bit of dimension, I placed foam tape beneath the bandage but adhered Edna’s legs directly to the card front. Simple Stripes patterned paper is from Queen & Company.

Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Tire Swing

Copic markers – B21, B23, B26, E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, E23, E25, E29, E35, E79, N3, N5, N7, N9, R01, R02, R24, R29, R59, Y21, YR23

Also this week, I colored Tiny Townie Tire Swing. It’s such a sweet, simple image. The top of the rope is adhered directly to the clouds while foam tape pops up the tire just a bit. On the clouds I stamped a Happy Birthday to You sentiment.

NEXT WEEK’S CHALLENGE

Next week we’re using images from the Stamp of the Month category, Tiny Townies. As a reminder, Blossom Loves Balloons is available at 50% off through May 31, 2021. All challenge details can be found HERE.

Blossom, Dandy and Bob

TGIF everyone! It’s time for a new Stamp of the Month with Stamping Bella. Tiny Townie Blossom Loves Balloons is available at 50% off through June 30, 2021. She’s from the very first release of Tiny Townies and I adore her. ♥ The sentiment “Birthday girl” comes with the image but I chose to use one from Tiny Townie Birthday Party in it’s place.

Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Blossom Loves Balloons

Copic markers – E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, E31, E35, E37, G21, G24, R83, R85, RV11, RV32, W0, W1, W9, Y21

This card was actually somewhat of a train wreck. Once I had paper-pieced the balloons and colored the hair and skin, I was just about to color the dress when  a giant drop of pink ink fell from my marker.  I was able to fix it somewhat, although she still has a more pink than usual neck.  Then as I was coloring the dress, even more ink blobbed out but this time it was pretty much everywhere. So I ended up very carefully cutting out the image and balloons and adhering them over a newly stamped outline. All is well in the end other than some choice words. And I didn’t *want* to add black to her dress. Or use that dark of a pink, but … *shrugging*  That pink marker has now spent a lot of time against a paper towel so that hopefully I don’t have that problem again. : |

Staming Bella Rainbow Dandy Lion

Copic markers – BG10, BG11, BG70, E30, E31, E33, E35, E37, E40, E41, R01, R02, V0000, V000, V01, W00, W1, YR000

This week I also colored new Rainbow Dandy from the new Dandy Lion category. He’s colored with Copic markers with faux sparkles added to the rainbow and mane using an extra fine point white Sharpie marker.

Stamping Bella Oddball Bob

Copic markers – B16, B24, B26, B91, B93, B95, BG10, BG11, C00, C1, C2, E30, E31, E33, E35, E37, E40, E41, E47, E74, E77, E79, G03, G07, G09, R29, R59, V09

And lastly, I colored Oddball Bob. Now you can have that song stuck in your head too.  🙂

NEXT WEEK’S CHALLENGE

Use a vintage Stamping Bella image, meaning one NOT from the current/most recent release. (If the image is not listed in the “what’s new” category, then it’s considered “vintage.”) All challenge details can be found HERE.

Thanks for Helping Me Grow

TGIF, everyone!  This week the Stamping Bella team is creating with images from the latest release. I decided to work on my watercolor skills (which are severely lacking).  I tried….

I used super cute Planty Dandy Lion. I love the whole new line of Dandy Lion by Kristin Farnsworth. She’s soooo talented.

After stamping the image onto Acquarello Artistico Extra White 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper, I colored with Karin Brush Marker Pro markers using  Silver Brush Black Velvet brushes. The sentiment was adhered using a Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher.

NEXT WEEK’S CHALLENGE

Use any current Stamping Bella image. (No restrictions.) All challenge details can be found HERE.

Have a great weekend!
