Hello everyone! Today I have a very quick and easy card to share using new Paper Smooches stamps and dies.

Laurels/Spreading Joy

I adore A Charlie Brown Christmas and so, using one of Paper Smooches‘ Laurels dies and a Queen & Company red Frostie, I created a Charlie Brown Christmas tree.

Copic markers – E35, G85, G94; Kirarina Wink White Pearl

I die-cut a strip of Post It Note tape using Borders 1 then blended light blue ink across the top portion of my white card stock block. I die-cut the Laurel branch from white cards stock, colored with the Copic markers listed above and added snow with a Kirarina Wink White Pearl pen. I used a thin marker to draw the string then adhered the red Frostie.  The simple sentiment of peace was stamped from new Spreading Joy stamp set.

When do you decorate for Christmas? I like to begin Thanksgiving weekend.  Or the weekend before.  I know that’s early but it’s so much work, and I just love it. I cannot wait.  🙂

Hi everyone. I hope you enjoyed your weekend. It’s finally cooler here, feeling just a bit closer to fall. I love it.  🙂

Today I’m popping in to share another card created using new Paper Smooches dies and stencil.

This card came together so simply. I love that the new You Are a Blessing die is an easy focal point and new Essentials stencil creates a quick background.

I used Taylored Expressions’ Blender Brushes with Guava and Pineapple inks to create the background. I don’t have coordinating Guava card stock so I also blended that ink around the edges of my card base and onto a block for die-cutting the sentiment.

After die-cutting the sentiment, I popped it up with foam tape over the inked background then added a few die-cut Laurels. As accents I adhered a few of Queen & Company‘s yellow Solid Goosebumps. They come in a variety of colors and are perfect little sparkly additions.  🙂

Hello everyone! Have you seen Paper Smooches‘ latest release? Such a fab assortment of stamps and dies.  There are two new stencils as well.

Here I’ve used new Caffeinated stamp set with Caffeinated Icons dies, Caffeinated Two which is a smaller coordinating sentiment set, and Stackers stencil.

I stamped the tea image onto X-Press It Blending Card then masked around the bottom edges of the cup before stamping the first boba. I then masked each boba before stamping the next. Highlights were created using a Kirarina Wink White Pearl pen.

Copic markers – BG10, C4, C5, C7, C9, R83, R85, RV32, YG01, YG03, YG09

After coloring the tea with markers (listed below close-up photo), I used Jane Davenport/Spellbinders’s Birthday Suit pastel pallette to lightly add color to the cheeks. I find the pastels so much easier compared to markers when adding a bit of cheek color. I use a small foam eyeshadow applicator.

I blended a bit of a pink background onto my card base then used new Stackers stencil to add in the hearts. I used my Kirarina Wink white pen again to add a little scattering of dots. Two scrap pieces of patterned paper were adhered, then I popped up the tea image on foam squares. I stamped “hey” (from Caffeinated) twice and then aligned “cute” and “tea” (from Caffeinated Two) with my MISTI.

I used a combination of Joy die, Laurels dies and sentiment from Spreading Joy stamp set.

JOY and Laurels were die-cut from Queen & Company‘s Fruit Basket patterned paper for a non-traditional color scheme. Once assembled, I added a die-cut Bow and Jelly Gems in pink, yellow and blue.

Hi everyone! Today I’ve used another of Paper Smooches‘ most recent releases – Linked Leaves die. I created one traditional type fall card and one that is a little different. Let’s start with “different.”  🙂  Note: I had a terrible time photographing these white on white cards. No matter what I tried, I couldn’t seem to get rid of shadows.

Here, I used watercolor paper and Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers to create a fun/funky bright rainbow of color. Using my largest acrylic block (approximately 4″ x 6″), I laid the die across the top half (as a guide) then scribbled with the markers on the bottom half, using the spacing of the leaves to help determine when to change marker color. I spritzed the block with water then flipped it over onto the watercolor paper. Once dried, I die-cut the leaves, then die-cut again from white card stock three times. I stacked the white outlines using Multi-Medium Matte (with a fine tip) then adhered the stack to a strip of white card stock. Using a Quickstik, I inserted the bright die-cut inside pieces.

Thanks so much was then die-cut and adhered.

On my Blessings card, I again used watercolor paper and Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers but this time I chose more traditional fall colors.

The bit of patterned paper is from Queen & Company‘s Happy Harvest 6×6 paper pad.

Both cards are quick and easy to create, which I love.  (Quick other than drying time for the watercolor paper.)

I used super cute Pumpkin & Ghost dies with a sentiment from Face Off.  Pumpkin & Ghost dies include dies to create a pumpkin and ghost base with a variety of facial expressions and parts. So very cute.  🙂

I blended a background using purple and blue inks then stamped and embossed the sentiment. I used Starry stencil to add white stars (without embossing) and then added a sprinkling of Queen & Company‘s sparkly purple Jelly Gems with a few dots using a Kirarina Wink White Pearl pen.  (I LOVE this pen and they’re hard to find. I might grab a few more while they’re available!) Once complete, I popped up the ghost and the inked panel using foam tape. Soft pink cheeks were added using Jane Davenport Birthday Suit pastel palette. (It’s perfect for adding color to faces.)
