A Bitty Bow Birthday

Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing a card I created using new dies and new patterned paper now available from Paper Smooches.  (It was super easy!)

I started with a woodgrain pattern from new Rainbow Sherbet paper pad. There are such pretty shades in the pack. I used the woodgrain for the background and the included corresponding solids for the Bitty Bows. Before adhering the bows, I used the single strip die from new Stitch Builders to die-cut holes for stitching. Once die-cut, I stitched using matching DMC thread.

Bows were adhered only in the centers, leaving the “loops” and ends to lift for a bit of dimension. In the center of each bow I adhered a solid Goosebump from Queen & Company. They are no longer in the store but there are other Goosebumps from which to choose. They’re all very pretty and sparkly. Any would work with this design. I don’t see this particular Happy Birthday die in the Paper Smooches store but this one would work just as well.

Thanks so much for visiting today!
