Silhouette Holiday Greetings

Hi everyone! I’m popping in today to share two more cards using Purple Onion Designs‘ latest release by new artist Julian Charlton.  The new Silhouettes line includes multiple images from which to pick and choose to create any number of scenes.  When browsing, keep in mind that through December 13, ALL rubber stamps are 25% off!  🙂 You may want to consider grabbing a clear stamp as well since the rubber stamps are unmounted. It’s the perfect solution for using unmounted stamps over and over again without adhering foam to each stamp. I highly recommend!

On both cards, I created a softly blended sky background using Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink. I blended onto X-Press It Blending Card which I normally use for Copic coloring. I used it here because I love the bright white of the paper, and it is incredibly smooth which makes it perfect for blending inks as well as Copic coloring.

Side note:  ALL products from X-Press It (Blending Card, foam tape, double sided tape, decorative tape, etc.) are 20% off through the end of today, 12/1/19, 11:59 p.m. PST. (Discount applied at checkout.)

On the card above, I used Twin Trees, Frederick (fox) and the reindeer and banner from Santa’s On the Way. Paper Smooches Borders 1 die created a little snowy hill, and I used my Kirarina Wink White Pearl pen to create lightly falling snow. A red rhinestone was added as a shiny red nose.

Here, I fussy-cut all  images then adhered to the blended background/snow border using clear foam squares behind the front tree, gift held by Cocoa, the Seasons Greetings banner and Toby‘s head. A pink Queen & Company star tops the foremost tree.

You can find the latest from Purple Onion Designs HERE25% off through 12/13.  Thanks for visiting today!
