Hello! I hope your weekend was fine! We’ve been gearing up here for Thanksgiving on Thursday. I’m looking forward to seeing family and eating a fabulous dinner cooked by my husband! Seriously, he’s the best. ♥
Today I have two projects to share using some of the latest from Paper Smooches – both quick and easy – a get well card and a holiday tag.
First I created this very quick and easy tag using new To From die. The set includes all the pieces used.
After die-cutting the tag, I lightly blended a bit of Antique Linen Distress ink around the edges and adhered a bit of lace trim I’ve had for eons. I used Queen & Company’s Sheer Glue to adhere the die-cut pieces and 1/8″ double-sided sticky tape to adhere the lace. So easy. Bag is 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ from Michaels. Perfect for holding a few gift cards/small gifts for my mom and her sweet hubby.
The new Well Wishes stamp set is perfect for quick and easy get well cards.
After stamping onto X-Press It Blending Card and coloring with Copic markers (listed below), I die-cut the sentiment using Well Wishes Icons dies.
I used the litte heart die from the set to die-cut a peek-a-boo heart shape, revealing the dotted paper beneath. Plaid and dots are from Doodlebug Design’s Smitten Kitten paper pad. After adhereing the sentiment and die-cutting the heart, I popped up the plaid panel using foam tape.
Thanks so much for visiting today! I appreciate you!
