Make Today Great (paper smooches)

Paper Smooches‘ latest release is so adorable. Seriously, SO cute! I shared my first card using the new Sunnyville stamp set HERE. Today I’ve turned to the new dies.  🙂

I used Sunny dies and Mini Clouds dies. They work perfectly together! The sentiment is from Sunnyville stamp set.

Before adhering the sun and clouds, I masked off a section of X-Press It Blending Card using Post It Tape then blended in blue to green using Distress Oxide inks in Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed.  (While I mostly use Blending Card for Copic coloring, I also like the bright white and the smoothness for easy blending.) At the base of the sponged area, I adhered several Mini Flowers, popping up every other flower on a foam square for added dimension.
