Sending Hugs (The Cat’s Pajamas April Release Preview)

Hi everyone! I’m back today featuring two new sets available from The Cat’s Pajamas on Tuesday, April 26th.

I’ve used new Sending You stamp set with Square Stamp dies. This little bunny’s bag is so stuffed with heartfelt notes, they’re flying from beneath the flap. 🙂

To create a level cancellation squiggles across the postage stamp, I first die-cut the stamp from the white card stock then replaced the white stamp with a die-cut patterned stamp (without adhering). I stamped the cancellation mark, removed the patterned die-cut, replaced the white and adhered the patterned stamp over. (Clear as mud?) By doing it this way, the postage stamp is raised but the cancellation mark is continuous across the layers.

Coloring was done with Copic markers over X-Press It Blending Card.
