MFT Previews, You’ve Got Mail

Hi everyone!    I’m back today with another sample of MFT‘s August release. Today I used You’ve Got Mail stamp set (along with Postage Stamp Die-namics and a little bit of Blueprints 11).

After die-cutting the stamp shapes from Sweet Tooth card stock, I stamped the “cancel” lines in Nightshift Blue ink.  Atop the lines, I placed Red Hot smiley faces cut using Blueprints 11.  The sentiment was also stamped in Nightshift Blue.

Inside, I added a border strip cut using one side of the largest postage stamp die and stamped a second sentiment from You’ve Got Mail.

MFT Previews, PI Batty About You

Hi everyone!  Welcome to another day of MFT August previews!  Today I’ve used super-cute new Pure Innocence Batty About You and its coordinating Die-namics die.

The little bat was die-cut from X-Press It Blending Card, stamped with Black Licorice Hybrid ink and colored with Copic markers.  The moon was cut using new Stitchable Dot Circle STAX, and the bat, fence and headstone were die-cut using new Spooky Scene Die-namics.

Inside, I stamped a batty silhouette in Orange Fizz ink, and added a little die-cut ghost.

MFT Previews, Office Space

Hi everyone!  I’m back for another day of MFT August Release Countdown. Only four days to go!  🙂  Today I’ve used new Office Space stamp set with coordinating Die-namics. It’s a great combo for quick and easy cards!

I kept my card very simple by die-cutting the tape dispenser, stamping in Black Licorice Ink then popping up the piece on foam tape.    The sentiment was stamped on three separate Sentiment Strips 2, leaving the ends to bend up just slightly.  I thought the end shapes worked perfectly as “tape.”

Inside, I stamped a sentiment from Sending Thanks onto a fourth “tape” strip.

MFT Previews, A Halloween Hello

Hi everyone!  I’m back today with another preview of My Favorite Things‘ August 12 release!  (Only five more days!)  Today I’ve used our new Birdie Brown stamp set and Die-namics, Witch Way is the Candy?.

The cute witch and bat were both stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copic markers and die-cut using Witch Way is the Candy? Die-namics.

I used Starry Night Stencil with Black Licorice card stock and Wendy Vecchi Studio 490 Embossing Paste to create the background.

The sentiment was white embossed after stamping in Sweet Tooth pigment ink, and the dots were die-cut using the dotted strip from Blueprints 18.

Inside, I added a leftover strip of embossed stars and stamped a little kitty from the stamp set.

MFT Previews, Eye Chart

Hi everyone!  Welcome back to a second day of August 12 release previews with My Favorite Things!  Today I’ve used new Eye Charts stamp set.  (I love the concept!)

The eye chart was stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card using Black Licorice ink then matted onto Electric Red card stock.  At the bottom I adhered a tiny heart cut from Blueprints 11.

Inside, I stamped a partial sentiment from Words of Inspiration and added a second tiny heart at the bottom.

MFT August Previews, Trick or Treat

Hi everyone, and welcome to the first day of August previews with My Favorite Things!  We have a new artist joining the team, Miss Tiina, and she has the cutest style!  I couldn’t wait to get started.  Today I have two cards to share using her debut set, Trick or Treat.  (There are coordinating Die-namics too!)

On my first card, I used Trick or Treat stamp set and Die-namics as well as elements from new Blueprints 18.

As I’ve mentioned before, I love purple (Grape Jelly) and bright green (Limeade) with black (Licorice) for Halloween.  The diagonal cut panels, star strip/stars and “boo” headstone were all  cut using elements from Blueprints 18.    All images were stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.

Inside, I added a sentiment from new Spooky Sentiments.

Next, I created a card using a zombie from Trick or Treat, sentiment from Spooky Sentiments, new Cheesecloth background and Dripping Goo Edge border.

After stamping the sentiment, I used a Copic Multi-liner to add little “drips” to the sentiment, and I used a black glaze pen to dot over the eyes.

Inside, I stamped a Spooky Sentiment and added another border of Goo.

you are wonderful

Hi everyone!  Today I have another Paper Smooches card to share, this time using Kudos.  I love the bold, handwritten font.  🙂

I combined the large sentiment with some bright Summer Bliss papers by Echo Park.

To add a bit of sparkle and fun, I adhered a few brightly colored sequins I recently picked up from Michaels.

That’s it for today.  Short but sweet.  🙂  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!
