MFT May Previews, My World is Brighter

Hi everyone!    I’m back today with another sample of MFT‘s May release. Today I used SUPER fun new Lightbulb Die-namics with Watt’s Up? stamp set and a bit of Blueprints 15.

I found the perfect shiny piece of silver card stock in my stash, die-cut a panel using Blueprints 15 and adhered to a Sweet Tooth base.  I wasn’t sure how well the sentiment from Watt’s Up? would stamp onto the shiny surface using Black Licorice Hybrid ink…perfect!

After die-cutting the various lightbulb elements, I added a bit of shine using a Wink of Stella clear glitter brush.  The light “rays” were cut using the negative pieces from the “screw” element of the lightbulb.  (I love that heart-shaped filament!)

Inside, I stamped a sentiment from Sending Thanks, added another punched strip from Blueprints 15 and a second heart filament.

Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for direct links to more Countdown samples, info on prizes and all you need to know about our May 13 release!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I’ll be back tomorrow!

Additional supplies/info:  Recollections Cartulina card stock, X-Press It 1/2″ foam tape.  Finished size 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.
