This is one challenge I always look forward to…getting together with my JiFFy friends. Just as a refresher, one of us chooses patterned paper and sends to all. Once the paper is on its way, another of us chooses an image. We then have to each do something with the combo. Just for fun! 🙂
This month was my turn to choose the paper. I love tiny flower prints and gingham so when I spotted Simple Stories’ “Simple Pleasures” from their 100 Days of Summer Collection, I knew that was what I wanted to use. It was Jody’s turn to select the image and she chose TCP‘s adorable bunny in Take Off.
Just Putt-Putting Along
I so very much love this set. It’s just so cute!
Even though this is probably a boy bunny (I think he lo0ks like a boy), I decided to give him a floral plane. I think he’s “man” enough to handle it (and I just wanted to paper-piece it.) 🙂
I stamped the wing a second time, colored it, cut it out and applied a thin stripe of glue just along the top edge. Beneath the bottom of the wing, I placed one of Jody’s foam boosters.
MFT’s Pretty Posies Die-namics created a quick matching flower.
Be sure to check out what the other JiFFy girls did with this same image and paper! I’m always eager to see for myself! 🙂
(Carole Burrage and Christina Fischer will post soon.)
