It’s JiFFy Time!

Hello!  It’s time for another challenge with my JiFFy friends!  We’re running a little behind with July’s challenge, but better late than never, right?

This month Amy sent to everyone Recollections Krafty Dots patterned paper and Christina chose C.C. Designs’ “Pumpkin Emma” from their Sugarplums collection.  I have to admit, when I saw this combo I was a little nervous.  But in the end, everything turned out just fine…I think.  🙂

Season of Blessings

My original idea was to color the image monochromatically.  But after giving it a bit of thought, I decided that was NOT the way to go if I wanted to retain my sanity.  So I used traditional fall colors.  (And my sanity was not compromised…this time.)  🙂

After coloring my image, I sponged all the edges using Ranger’s Walnut Stain Distress ink.

Be sure to check out what the rest of the JiFFy girls did with this same image and paper!  Can’t wait to see for myself!  🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!
