Princes, Princesses and Frogs, Oh My!

Hi everyone! It’s time for another challenge with Kraftin Kimmie!  This week Tara is challenging us to use princes, princesses and/or frogs…or any other fairytale-ish interpretation will work.   I decided to challenge myself with Snow White.  (It was scary.)

You’re the Apple of My Eye

Once I had selected my papers, I realized I was going to have to color part of her dress red.  Nooooo!  And as if that weren’t bad enough, I had to color her hair black…so difficult for me.  Blonds and brunettes are sooo much easier .

I didn’t have a red flourish so I colored a cream one using a red Copic.  But here’s a tip…don’t just slop on the color, thinking you’re going to peel the flourish off the acetate anyway.  Carefully color each pearl.  If you get marker on the little adhesive strip that holds the pearls together, it will show.  And it will look sloppy.  (Speaking from experience here…)

Be sure to check out the other Krafty girls’ fairytale samples HERE.  And if you’d like to play along, please remember to post a link to your card there on the Krafty Blog for your chance to win a free Snow White!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!
