It’s the weekend! Hooray! We have company coming for dinner tomorrow so I thought I ought to post now rather than wait. You know…clean, cook, blah, blah, blah. It’ll be fun though. 🙂
I took some images and markers along with me on vacation and I’m just now getting around to finishing the cards. One is this adorable image from Belles n’ Whistles by Elisabeth Bell (sent to me by one of my all-time favorite stampers, Tammi…she is such an inspiration).
I adore this little girl with her little apple bowl. So sweet!
As always, I used Copics and Prismacolor pencils. I don’t know why, but I always like coloring hair. Too bad I can’t color my own hair! Ha! (That would be a nightmare.)
I tried to give this a bit of a scrappy feel by adding all the zig-zag stitching. Another of my favorite things to do is add bits of zig-zag here and there as I did around the girl.
