Welcome to the My Favorite Things January release hop! If you’ve just come from Christina‘s blog, you’re in the right place. Among the five (totally adorable) new Pure Innocence sets being released, there is Tweeny Tween “Frosty Friends” … every bit as cute as the sweet, sweet PI girl! Yes, another fave of mine. 🙂
Just Chillin’
When inking the stamp, I omitted the sprig of holly from the snowman’s hat to give the card more of a “winter” theme as opposed to a holiday theme.
I colored my image with Copics (as always), using the colorless blender pen to lighten the shade of brown on the girl’s pants.
I added lots of stitching and punched two snowflakes from the lighter “patterned” paper.
To finish the inside, I inked only the snowman and stamped him onto the patterned paper. Since his one “hand” is hidden behind the girl, I had to draw that portion in with a black marker.
